For people who are tired of Apple's "incremental upgrades" rather than making true innovation... I totally agree with you. The iPhone 16 is nothing more than a revised iPhone 15 with slightly better hardware, thermal management and a new camera button.

The camera button essentially makes the phone more of a "camera" but it's more of a sensor than a button as it's capable of sensing sliding gestures as well as press motions. Just giving you a "button" would be too little to ask for Apple "innovation".

A larger battery gives the 16 Pro Max about 10% more screen-on usage than the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

The iPhone 16 Pro Max is also the largest iPhone made to date with a slightly larger body than the iPhone 16 Plus.

The upgraded camera is capable of shooting 4K 120fps video which combined with iMovie is a powerful video-editing suite for people like me who want their iPhone to be a Youtube money making machine.

UNFORTUNATELY, they give us an upgraded camera but DIDN'T UPGRADE THE STORAGE. Shooting 4K 120fps video will cost you 0.8GB per minute. Per hour that's 48GB. It doesn't sound like much, but if you want to do vacation vlogs and need large storage space, it's just not enough. 2TB ought to be the minimum for anything that dares call itself a "pro" and doubles down with the word "max". BIGGER is BETTER.

Overall: this is the best iPhone ever made.

But I'll wait for more storage in the 17.
