ОтветитьOpai naii exam approaching so I have to watch by any means :-)
Ответитьi have a story test and that's "hard times" . ty i can study better now
ОтветитьSchopenhauer sort of would have agreed with the school shown at the beginning, but I cannot believe he would address a child by a number. He thought children should be introduced to philosophy and religion much later in life. Their first subjects should only be those about which there is no dispute.
ОтветитьA good start!
Thanks for upload.
هذا غردغراند صدك قافل

QUESTION
Does this have a happy ending ... ? For at least a couple of characters ....
Thank you ❤
Thanks I found this from your comment on a poor quality upload!
ОтветитьAlan Dobie! What a treat. And does Timothy West ever age - he looks almost exactly the same, decades on. Thanks for this upload.
ОтветитьCan’t tell you how many years I have searching for this version. Quality is way better than the others found. Thank you, OP!
ОтветитьWritten by Dickens thought to be inspired by his time living in Manchester during the industrial revolution. One particular slum in central Manchester was Angel Meadow.
ОтветитьAnything with Alan Dobie is well worth watching
ОтветитьBrilliant production. Are there more episodes available?
Ответитьكردكراند قلقني كلشي يحجون كبل لا اوافق ادري شتريد بالضبط😒🙂
ОтветитьI studied the novel for A level. It’s depressing, as is this excellent dramatisation. The Victorians were horribly brainwashed. Unfortunately that did not go away overnight. All the exploitation, poverty and industrialisation had a lasting impact on the British. It wasn’t that long ago either. I’m 61 now. As a child I remember sitting with my aged great grandmother who had been a corset maker earlier in her. One day my father told me that she had been alive during the reign of Queen Victoria. Two excellent movies to watch which depict that era well are “The French Lieutenant’s Woman” and “The Elephant Man”.
ОтветитьSocial conventions: Other people meddling with other people’s lives and unnecessarily making them utterly miserable. As the old Beatles once sang ; Let it Be. Dickens knew how to make his antagonists come across as overtly pathetic specimens.
ОтветитьWe studies in Egypt
ОтветитьRead the novel's first 184 pages as of this evening....Episode One of this video follows well the basic arc of the novel...also helps to understand the speech impediment of Mr. Sleary and the North English dialect of Stephen Blackpool, as recorded by Dickens. Well appreciated! Looking forward to finishing the novel and subsequently this video.
Ответитьليش ماكو ترجمه؟ 🙂💔
ОтветитьThe Soundtrack is good to listen clearly. Bravo from PATNA 💖
ОтветитьGot a homework from today's class that is to watch a movie “Hard Times” a novel by Charles Dickens...

ОтветитьLuxury. I used to dream about living in a ditch 😂
ОтветитьR.I.P Timothy West. Thanks for sharing this.
ОтветитьMy God, this version of Dickens seems to wallow in the abysmal. Not what I ordered tonight.

ОтветитьI did this for my finals in school. The story really captivated me when I was 17.
I learnt my son is doing it now in his school. We spent hours talking about it and making references!
Where is mrs begler .mr Bounderby's mother .
ОтветитьRead the novel as a teenager and remember Gradgrind's faith in 'facts' so vividly. A very realistic adaptation from the off.
ОтветитьWhere is next parts
