Wise advice. There was recently a case in my county, in April, where a couple went wild camping for the first time and underestimated the power of the wind here in Derbyshire. Couldn't put the tent up. It was dark. Pure luck they stumbled upon an experienced wild camper who was able to give them a warm drink and called a rescue team.
I don't want to take up a nomadic life, but I like to learn things and be prepared in case the sh*t hits the fan for whatever reason. I really appreciate your content and it's really interesting to hear your story, thank you.
really enjoying watching your story a great roll model love you both

ОтветитьThanks both, yeah, a great video and very much beneficial to any one thinking about nomad life. It just goes to show every one is different, especially their circumstances with money, health, flexible qualities, adaptions to conditions, etc...etc. I think its great fun and exciting what you do, but heck, I would want a 4x4 or similar for any difficult situations or and all the brilliant benefits from it. Cheers both, and good luck.
ОтветитьYour fantastic ❤
ОтветитьIM loving your videos. My Father and his Partner kind of live a bit like you and it's a wonderful insight into maybe how they get along. Thank you for your sanity in this topsy Turvey world.

ОтветитьWhat would happen with your lifestyle if god forbid you got a serious illness. You couldnt be living in a tent then? Another person said in a comment that you both should write a book If you did this I think you were sell it very well as you have a fanbase and people are interested in you and what you do and what experiences you have had.
Ответить❤ thank you both ♥️
ОтветитьWow! Cannot believe just how inspirational and resourceful you two are! After the whole mortgage, kids, endless overtime and everday stress of life i split from the wife. Im now a (not quite nomadic) narrowboater traveling the waterways and loving life again. ATB👍👍👍

ОтветитьA Pure Source ❤️
ОтветитьI'm not tough enough....
ОтветитьI’m only 8mins in so far, Tara, wow, you are so hardcore!! Fair play.
ОтветитьGreat info, thank you guys. I like hearing your back story's too. Much love
ОтветитьYears ago I announced ( in the pub ) I was going to join the army ! My mates said I wouldn’t last five minutes, so I tested myself and went to stay roughing it ,in the Wyre Forest for a few nights. I was found frozen to a tree by a forester , if only I could have listened to your wise words all those years ago.
ОтветитьI love watching you guys, you're very inspirational. I love the wild camping. My dad used to take me. He was in the army. I became one of those survival preppers a while ago, but I never took it too seriously. It's been very useful though in day to day life. I lost my wee dog Jake last month, and now I'm beginning to reevaluate my life. Luckily, he was more of an outdooorsy pug, and loved going out and camping in our woodland. But now I have no shadow to ride shotgun or go camping with, I miss him so much..... Keep up the good work guys.... xx
ОтветитьI am 25 and waiting to be kicked out by the council to go nomad because I refuse to have to pay large amounts just to live. I would love to learn more from you both, and would feel safer about my situation if I had people like you I could turn to for info! <3
ОтветитьCool stories but especially Tara's story amazing, real hardcore. Work hard at what you do but take it easy.
ОтветитьNice video!
Can I ask what tooth you are wearing around your neck and where you bought it from? I would like to buy one too. Thank you.
Can’t imagine that level of sharing was easy. Fair play to both of you!
ОтветитьYou two are great, I love your free spirited nature. I know the path's not always easy (but you both fit it so perfectly), hugs to you both, and dog 🤗🤗🤗
Ответить💯🫶🙌🙏
ОтветитьThank you for sharing your origin story.
ОтветитьAwesome video. Gotta admit you guys are the only channel I will let the ads run through just to let those little trickles contribute 😂 Still amazes me how you make your videos so good when always moving about. Great work guys ❤
ОтветитьBoth your stories of your lives brought me to tears, in a good way. I can relate to alot of it, my life's been very traumatic and still going through quite a bit of suffering still, but with hopeing and gradually trying to find balance and harmony in my life, in spite of disabilities and health problems, I still keep hopeing to get out there again as did many years ago when homeless, this time it'll just be part time stealth van travels. I'm so glad you both have each other and the dog, your both such an inspiring and amazing couple, hope i meet you one of these days in the glorious Peak District which is where I'm near, can't venture any further from "home" because of my conditions, new subscriber here and a Big Thankyou for your amazing videos and travels. 😀👍
ОтветитьI think you have to be a fairly stubborn individual to live an alternative lifestyle, and your lifestyles are fairly extreme alternative. I think in that context you're both lucky and unusual to have found a compatible long term partner.
I really enjoyed this video, and I'm sure I'll enjoy the series.
Enjoyed the video seventy eight now but wifey and😮Ihave had a lot of outdoor adventures over the years in different parts of the world including a six month cycle camping trip in New Zealand wild camping so most outdoor videos don’t do it for me very little content but log hoppers is a whole different content and the lifestyle both live is interesting we both retired very early and have been living off grid for the last twenty five years it’s been well over forty years sincel Iast voted meaning that’s when l woke up to the political programming l started to observe the program but not participate in it best wishes for the future of your utube venture not used grammar because I can’t see any symbols and I have missed a couple of words out but heyho
ОтветитьLove to hear your backgrounds and how you came to be nomads! Fully support what you do 🤘🏼 where can I donate a coffee or something stronger?
ОтветитьFair play you two, fair play
ОтветитьLove this series already!
