People say this mic is great but I'm having a nightmare of a time getting the to sound good for my VoiceOver..

very weird question, but the 3.5 mm jack they included is too small for the plug on the back of the mic??? ive never seen this before it literally just falls out. right out of the box. is this normal? i wouldnt think so

Is that mic really good for audio recording? If I use with IPhone X, because at this time I am using rode smart lav +, it is not good, while recording I need to speak very near to mic if I record voice little far from mic, there is lot of sound distortion.

Hi I have a question is this good for recording festival videos sound? I mean I usually makeing videos in festivals but the sound quality is horrible most of the time maybe cuz it is to loud. Is this thing helps me to record a good quality sound?

Great overview, Caleb. Your main point is spot on, it's a vlogging mic, and probably just as good as anything else for near-field dialogue. As you've eluded to, it's not really a shotgun, at least not in the truest sense. Great video production, not that you need any affirmation of your abilities. Cheers, Dave.

I was wondering if you could help me. I just bought this microphone and I do vlogging. When I am walking around with the camera or when i pick it up or touch it the shock mount shakes making the microphone shake. Is this the same with your to or did I just get a broken one?

I tried it , it's a joke . Unless you don't mind noisy sound then go for it . A lot of noise and almost similar to the in camera audio

Unfortunately most of the cheap cameras, or compact cameras, such as the Sony RX100, etc, don't offer an inexpensive mic input. And the ones that offer, don't offer a 180º LCD. So I really don't understand to whom this microphone might be...
