Does Cotton Batting Shrink? | Should I Pre-wash Wrap n Zap?

Do you need to pre-wash your batting / wadding? In this video I pre-wash 2 pieces of 100% Wrap n Zap Cotton batting to see how much they will shrink.
Both pieces are soaked in very hot water and then one piece is laid flat to dry and the other is put into a dryer on a delicate cycle.
See the results and decide if you want to avoid shrinkage by washing your cotton batting before using in your projects.
