Can I ask you a question please? And I'll apologise before I even start if it is dumb but... so I read that the BC 620 was for infantry and the 659 for artillery, both of which radios use different frequency bands. So... supposing I am an infantry unit radio man so I'm using a 620. But I want to call in fire support with an arty strike on a given point... how do I speak to the arty if they are on a different radio which uses different frequencies???

Quick question for you... my MP48 has arrived but it is not like the one on your Jeep. The cable goes up into the bottom of the mount then wraps around the spring on the lower section, up through the top insulator and then just finishes in mid air with no connector. How does it connect? Does it need a plug putting on to the cable?

BLOODY PRICELESS!!! I've been looking for this info for weeks and I've asked several Ex-Spurts on other channels for info related to their videos of these units and not one could be bothered to reply! AND... same with companies selling some of the bits too!!! Does my head in. Thanks for posting.

I got one of these, mine was full of dust, dead spiders, I don’t think mine is worth repairing
Who would I call anyway ?

Great setup. I see you seatbelts installed, this is something I plan on doing, how about a video showing how you mounted them? I was in a head on collision in my jeep, the steering wheel saved.

Is the BC-620 the radio used in a 1944 Jeep?

Very nice indeed. Surprising how long the valves actually lasted with all the bouncing around.

Very nice presentation. Is it a "working radio" ? I have a BC-659J with PE-120A that is mounted on my 45 GPW and it operates. Both the BC-620 and 659 are cool looking radios which really finish off a WWII jeep. Your jeep is very clean and sharp. Congratulations.
