The work you have done already is absolutely incredible, well done all of you 🎉
ОтветитьAhhh the good ole days when each board end was chiseled by hand. 😊
ОтветитьNic is the most important and versatile member of the whole team - tree surgeon, safety officer, rigging expert, general labourer, machinery operator, excavator driver, delivery man, scaffolder... and weather station
ОтветитьKeep doing what your doing Dan. Your doing a fantastic job!
ОтветитьLoved the old footage today! So many accomplishments. 🏆
I could breath relief in this video as you're on the top with Nick. 😂
U have come a long way. Proud for u
ОтветитьA time of wind. Take care
ОтветитьYes DAN UR TURRETT IS COMING TOGETHER.😊 TOO BAD BRIAN. LEFT FOR IRELAND AND GUINESS!!🎉
ОтветитьOMG. 18 MTRS OF WOBBLY SCAFFOLD.
. BE FAREFUL. DAN AND NICK. THAT ,*WOBBLER SCAFFOLD. IS DANGEROUS!!! NON STABLE. OH ID BE GETTING SICK ON THAT THING!! THATS VERY HIGH. PLEASE BE CAREFUL GUYS!!⚠️🚷🚷⚠️
Watching the reflection video makes you realise how precarious the chateau was and that you saved it just at the right time before it crumbled down. You have come so far and now with the team and the tools, how quickly it is moving forward. Great work team Dan❤
ОтветитьWow! Too unsafe at the Chateau! It must be terrible there! 🥺
ОтветитьWow you think you need a safety harness? Thank God
ОтветитьWould love to know who is paying for all this timber it must cost a fortune not even started inside except the stone wall in cellar between that wasn't cheap
Ответитьbreezy!
ОтветитьSo much Sawdust and no hamster. 🤪
I guess you can use it winter when the dirveway is icy.
Why not build it on the ground and have a crane hoist it up?
ОтветитьThink about it: in a few month we will be only having indoor videos.
Crazy to see how fast this goes!
Keep up the work❤🎉
Think about it! Thousands o people have sat and watched you count noggins. You are winning this.
ОтветитьYou made a huge advancement! You recognized danger and turned around! Every other time so far you have slammed into the danger without regard fr the outcome. Man, you have made a huge giant step forward on yourself!
ОтветитьI dont get why you dont rent a small crane for a week or something.... would def help out.
ОтветитьNice to see you are safe 🤗
See you in the next one 🤗👍
Love Sue❤❤❤🇬🇧❤❤❤
True this!!!
ОтветитьDan love your videos. Just want to know if you ever finished the farm house,? Please wear those harness and stay safe.❤
ОтветитьThe turret is blowing in the wind ? Bob Dylan!!! LOL Ya gonna need oxygen if you go much higher. LOL Can't believe how focussed and driven you are Dan.... well done you if that's what it takes.... genius!!!
ОтветитьI love that you are doing little bullet notes in the videos for a touch of humor (wind test using Nicks beard) or for new viewers for a point of reference!
ОтветитьTake your time Dan, safety first, we are along for the journey
ОтветитьI wonder if the turret was constructed entirely on the ground. Could it have been lifted to its place on top with a helicopter?
ОтветитьWow, trying to build the roof up that high is inherently dangerous! 😮😮 Build the bottom section of the roof on the ground. Lift it to the roof on your power ladder. Built top section of roof on the ground , then attach it to the bottom section while it is laying down on the roof plates. Then, just stand the completed roof section up using your hoist attached to the finished roof section so it is pulling sideways. After the first section is securely up, then attach a temporary brace board about midway down the runs from front to back so you can attach it to the rest of the joist until they can ve permanently installed. Bonne Chaunce! 😊
ОтветитьThe scaffold is the key, guys! If it is as strongly fixed in, rock solid, the wind should not be effective any more! And secondly I agree with Madeleine, the eyes would burn less watching you! 😲
ОтветитьCannot wait. Great presentation Dan.
ОтветитьI thought you meant the other kind of wind.
ОтветитьBeen watching for some time the wife and. I both subscribe to this! Great to watch it every night before bed! It inspires us on our old building which was built in 1913 , we’ve watched all the way back to the beginning of the work !! Great 👍🏻 job guys! We have video out from what we have done ✅ not like yours.
ОтветитьMasterful troll job with the last video. I wonder what the comments would have been if you'd titled the video "I finally setup the scaffold properly"
ОтветитьI do wish you would all wear back brace belts when doing the heavy lifting. Believe me, from experience, you'll wish you had, down the road.
ОтветитьDaniel - yes I’m using your full name. Your safety is most important. We don’t care how long it takes - we are with you till the end.
ОтветитьGood plan. Better to be temporarily frustrated than permanently injured ❤
ОтветитьHey Dan, did you ever find out what the leather door handles, pulls or knobs looked like? 😊the original ones sold by the original lady of the chateau. I’ve thinking about them since you mentioned she stripped absolutely anything she could sell out of the place when she and their daughter were left without the means to take care of themselves. Does anyone know?
ОтветитьHow many money cost this house?
ОтветитьBuild the turret on the ground and get a crane! You are scaring us!!!!!!
ОтветитьI know absolutely nothing about construction, but wouldn't it be safer to build the thing on the ground then get a crane to hoist it into place all in one shot? Then just bolt it to the frame of the turret
ОтветитьNo video today, I hope you're ok, you wild man.
Ответить😂😂😂😂Where is CAMERON😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьQuit criticizing Dan. Now we don't get a new video 😢
ОтветитьI'm surprised you're not putting the lower "A" of the turret roof in first then use it to build off of and get the top part together?
ОтветитьThe voice of reason has joined you and what a difference in the tone of the video. Sanity has returned! You've done AMAZING things and learned so much. If looking at the past helps, then by all means look because you (and Nick, et al) have had the vision and the courage to keep going forward. Kudos.
ОтветитьIt's Tuesday afternoon here in CA USA and where's my Dailiy Dan?
ОтветитьNeat. Amazing to think we used to just be about joists and noggins
ОтветитьYou are so important to lots and lots of people, never forget that and be safe for all of us..... you guys are remarkable!
ОтветитьSEnsible decision, there's always something else to do in the meantime. Damn weather. 😀
Ответитьanyone says something that you dont agree with gets deleted. Do you honestly think that is is fair?
Ответить
