Pro tip guys, using a thinner lock on acoustic and thicker on electric tends to lead to a natural cure for the pick going too deep, you'll naturally hold to closer to the edge to compensate the flimsyness lol

If you're just learning strumming, get yourself a .50 or .60 pick. (But for learning notes/scales, a little thicker)

Major lightbulb 💡 moment for me. I've been focusing on how and where I hold the pick, and how I move my hand (mixing hand motion and arm motion), not where I place the pick on the strings. This might be the most important part to work on out of those three, and it can probably also be practiced the most mechanically, because you can easily see objectively whether you're in the right spot with each motion.

I’m glad he say nice in life because I don’t know how heavy to strong you know and I didn’t know I was supposed to do it nice and light. I thought you had to do it but you know which sound so it sounds loud and and that means it sounds good, but not really because you can make it light and soft and still sound very good.

I've been a beginner guitar player for about 20 years lol. One of my absolute biggest problems after all these years is that if I strum lightly (properly) the pick always spins and moves around between my fingers.
