One of my favorites. Despite it's surface complexity, it's easy to teach, and plays really well with lots of players. People have fun with it the first time they play it. Always a hit.

Great game here. It's been a good while since I've played it but man it can be a very fun game. You can get a little bogged down in the minutia but I dig this game.

This game sales for good money on the secondary market. Never could afford it.

one of my top 5 games of all time. Horribly written rules, however. new players would be best served learning the game from someone who knows it already rather than learn it on their own.

Gunslinger is a fantastic game. One of the most reprint-deserving games (if it wasn't because my mint copies would fall in the value then).

It's a fantastic game. Will ever be in my top 5. I have the maps blown up 4 times to use with standard minis.

I remember most of the AvHill bookcase games retailing for anything from $12-20, with prices climbing over the years and some variation based on components. So yeah, that could easily be a "bought new" game there. Never did get this one myself, I'd already bought Boot Hill from TSR and Western gunfights weren't quite popular enough with my old crew to justify owning more than one game covering the genre. FWIW, BGG says 1982 as a publication date. Sounds right, I know Boot Hill was out first, 1975 by BGG.

I have seen this but never gave it a go. Looks cool.

Great for one-off scenarios and ongoing mini-campaigns. It is such a great game for conventions too. Kind of astonishing how much content used to get packed into a board game.

3/4 of the box contents would be expansions if the game was released today. My copy is on its way from the US, can't wait!

I had GS but never developed a liking for it. IIRC, Ken Hamblen designed GS. His games were usually a bit out there for my tastes.

This game provided hours of fun for my group of hardcore gamers who played games like Flattop (AH), Assault (GDW), and Third Reich (AH). It is a beer-and-pretzels game that has serious elements. I regret having sold mine.
