As an American, I'm so glad he mentioned that last option.
People like to point fingers at Mexico for this problem, but where is the demand for these drugs? It's here. Mexicans are the ones exposed to all the violence, not us. All because people feel like taking Saturday night up a notch.
Your party drugs are soaked in blood.
All of that narrative is applicable in the case the objective is to end the fentanyl problem... But in order to understand the full problem you need also to consider the insecurity and violence problems, that have been growing and will continue to do so if not stopped, they went from corruption now to full on terror, from using guns to having armored vehicles and drones, etc etc... And that is the result of a corrupt state that is working with them... This is the real issue that should be concerning to the US...
ОтветитьMexico is the 11th largest economy with a very proud population. Invading Mexico would be a severe hit to USA.
Don't even try. I am a Mexican from Mexico City and have 0 interest of being in USA. We should be friends. But both of your parties make sure that North America isn't united.
How about stop sending guns, ammo, and money to the cartels?
ОтветитьYep
ОтветитьMexican military doctrine revolves around asymetric warfare as an invasion from the US is a very realistic possibility for it has hapened before with the result of over 60% of Mexican territory lost to the US. loved the final option. lol. so, stop finnancing cartels by buying from them and stop making them strong by selling them weapons.
ОтветитьWell obviously if you start going hard after cartels they will fight back and cause the violence to flare up. Rival cartels like CJNG and los Chapitos are now joining forces and building blockades to slow down the military. Some might say the war is spinning out of control, but I think it’s really a sign of desperation from the cartels
ОтветитьMexico was safer under the PRI party
ОтветитьStupidest shit i heard all year 😂
ОтветитьIf ground forces are to ever be used, an international force, such as UN peacekeepers should be sent in. Mexico is incapable and unwilling of dealing with the Cartels, due to the Mexican government being on the payroll of the Cartels. So if violence is to ever be dealt with, it will have to come from outside of Mexico.
ОтветитьCould the US somehow… BUY northern Mexico? Is it possible economically speaking? Serious question. 🤔
ОтветитьWhy?
Ответитьwhat about option 6 which avoids the military option, but is equally controversial. Extreme punishment for drugs & drug dealing. Benefits, consequences, likelihood or unlikelihood of it happening? All good questions to hear the Zeihan answer!
ОтветитьHave not watched a video of your in a whole. You doing ok Peter? Trump is still your daddy.
ОтветитьMéxicos government embraced protectionism policies towards cartels, which helped them obtain power status in 2018. Thus, YES; Mexico's government is to blame completely on the rise in cartel violence since 2018.
Ответить👀
ОтветитьHow about stop smuggling Guns ans weapons and stop portrating drugs as "cool" in every hollywood movie. You can also stop using drugs. It's amazing how there is very little talk about the US cartels (being the DEA the largest one). If the US military is sooooo efficient why they have so many issues inside the US. Just ridiculous.
Ответитьmisinformation alert or half truths alert
ОтветитьPeter is comically timely with his videos. I stopped watching since he started releasing a week later.
ОтветитьI like the last option, strong safety net that supports mental health and works towards reducing drug use with in the us, no market no supply
Ответитьu full of shit
Ответитьfentynal is sold in usa pharmacist u guys have a drug problem
Ответитьusa has been making deals with drug cartels and financing them
ОтветитьSee— You see the de centralization of fentanyl production as a “happy accident” — I see it as part of a larger strategy and directed strategic move.
You forget— once the CCP got involved— so did their intelligence agencies and triads — it altered the dynamics.
What you're saying will destroy both economies 😂
Ответитьyour math is off peter. Fentanyl costs about 10k a kilo to produce and move across the border. A kilo contains 10 million doses, assuming each dose is 100 micrograms (can vary from 50-1000). At $3 a dose, typical street price in west coast downtowns, that's 30 million dollars a kilo.
ОтветитьIm a Mexican, living in Mexico, never been to the US, yes the US should invade for many reasons.
Mainly because the majority of Mexicans are hyper focused on communism… as with every poor country with internet. A strong leader will arise from this scenario which will lead Mexico into the proper path. M
Yes because there’s no work on either side
ОтветитьWell, if the US is going to invade Mexico then it should do it while Trumps in charge, because any subsequent president will be too busy cleaning up Trumps mess and not have the time or inclination to do something so stupid.
Ответить
option no.? release El Chapo ?!!!🤔😏
ОтветитьWhat about stopping the demand? What about taking down the distribution in the US? What about stopping guns from coming to Mexico?
ОтветитьYes, and also Iran.
ОтветитьOption number 5 must be option number 1
ОтветитьIf they would just stop the gun smuggling from the USA to Mexico
ОтветитьCan you release the Iranian and Israeli military videos early?
ОтветитьWell, what you think I think it's better that they do constant help on the awareness of drugs and rehabilitation programs on the additions and raising the quality of life of their citizens and not that of the rich and oligarchs when you speak sounds like a whole supremacist and white imperialist I say it because I'm from Mexico and I know that my country also has problems like yours but I think there are better ways to fix the problems and more peaceful
ОтветитьAnd if the words he said at the end are true and improve the life of the productive and working class of his country as in mine and corruption and give more opportunities to the working people of my country how to give them work in their country as a worthy way of earning a living and helping each other
ОтветитьI vote for the fifth option 😡
ОтветитьAll cartels are based on the north of Mexico, exactly where you suggest to be annexed. You would be just giving every cartel American citizenship
ОтветитьShould the USA invade the drug users ?
ОтветитьInvade not, unite yeah!
🇲🇽🇺🇸
Just imagine… US military/economic/reasearch + MX industrial power/man power/agriculture
On the topic: As long as there are consumers, someone will provide.
Bahaha this is a joke right. Mexico is not Afghanistan. How did the war against a bunch of Stone age farmers turn out 🤡🤣🖕
ОтветитьPolitically, almost no first-world country would agree, militarily, the answer is different. With more intelligence support, the strategy would be relatively simple, but you never know how far the conflict could escalate, in all terms, sadly. Personally, I believe that the relative failure of contemporary strategies should point to a more coordinated bilateral solution, but the clowns we elect as leaders are a burden that is difficult to overcome.
ОтветитьThe problem is USA people consuming drugs, selling guns to cartels, doing money laundering... usa could destroy Mexico with nuclear bombs but guess what? You'd keep consuming drugs from whatever other country.
ОтветитьWorried by mexico while they give weapons and intelligence to the cartels, while wwIII is coming 😅😅😅 your worst problem in your contry is the corruption and the lack of democracy options...only the donkey or the white elephant 😂 they are making millions with every war they do.
ОтветитьI think you're about to invade Iran!
Ответить
