Very sweet sounding overdrive! I'd definitely consider buying one, if it weren't for my undying love for my Red Snapper.

Nicely done demo. Very informative regarding most all the details. What amp were you playing through?

My main problem with the trim pot inside is that one will have to keep the unit open and mess with the adjustment to find the amount of boost or cut they want. This to me is a problem in that the pedal is not easily adjustable in case one wants to change the sound of the pedal for different songs. Can't you put the adjustment accessible from the outside?

Steve Rocco On the other hand, for gigging it's great, set your cut, and never have to cringe again because your setting is off. Perfect. Ideally, yes you'd want to set the gain for each song, and you can, the high cut will only need to be set for each guitar... based on taking out the shrillness.

Bravo! A very informative and intelligently done demo. I was looking for a Redhead distortion/overdrive by Lovepedal when I chanced across this today. Personally, I'd prefer the Treble/Bass trim pot were accessible w/o having to get up in her guts with a faithful screwdriver. Ideally, it'd have its own external knurled knob. Yes, I'm aware that might increase the size of the little darling. I'd be willing to sacrifice SOME compactness for an effect effectively more easy to use.

I was fortunate enough to find one of these available to purchase today (January 2022) and placed my order. I also found on another site replacement batteries and ordered a couple of those. I’d appreciate your recommendation for what setting to use on a Stratocaster for a warm blues tone.

Joe Walsh has the Scarlet Witch pedal on his pedalboard. I love the smooth overdrive and really sounds great to push an amp into overdrive.
Listen to the Red Witch sound and think...Eagles....yes, you heard it on their songs.

Please watch the clip RedDevil. The rechargeable battery lasts 2 years - then you replace the battery - not the pedal. One $10 battery every two years = much better for the environment and your wallet.
