Absolutely loved you vlog today. Ta ta from Yorkshire 😊
ОтветитьI was looking for some cool consignment places downtown. Perfect timing! Thank you, Monica! 😊
ОтветитьHellowww Monica! Yessss luvvvvvvvvvvvv these style of vlog videos! For sure!!! So thank you for bringing us to Toronto where I used to live but at the time, luxurious charity shops were scarce and we do have here in Montréal 'Le Village des valeurs' so I do think it's Canadian, well not sure really. You did well not picking out that chanelesque black blazer, although the style was nice, the material not so much, I do try to steer clear of polyester and cheap materials, I tend to natural fibers, the gold chaining looked plasticky so you were right not purchasing it, you opted for the perfect little black blazer instead with suited you to perfection. Enjoy your time with the familia. xxx
ОтветитьI go to a lot of charity shops in Britain. I have never ever found designer cloths. m&s Wallis George Tesco and tui. I think I need to go shopping with you
You find some lovely clothes.
A bit of a tip….Value Village is a “for profit” so more expensive than a charity shop. They are called “Savers” in the United States. Also Ontario is one province in Canada…if you decide to see any of the other provinces there are all sorts of different, unique thrift and consignment shops.
ОтветитьI liked your husband smelling the handbag 😂😂😂 he is smelling for leather 😊. You have trained him well 👍😊
ОтветитьLoved this video. It was the perfect length to watch whilst enjoying a nice cuppa’. Thanks for sharing 😊 Enjoy Canada both of you. My husband won’t go into charity shops with me; he calls them ‘tat shops’ and says I go ‘tatting’ 😂 - how lovely. He doesn’t complain though when he gets some great designer bargains 😆
ОтветитьEnjoy Yourself In Toronto Monica With Your Family. Fabulous Clothes In Toronto. Have a lovely Week. Xx 😊😘
ОтветитьWonderful love both types ❤
ОтветитьThat first jacket so suited you - l would have bought it!
ОтветитьI was in Toronto last year. I wish I’d seen this video before I went! Have a lovely trip.
ОтветитьHi. Value village is in the USA. Enjoy your visit with your family. I never miss one if your videos😊😊😊😊
ОтветитьPolyester but not I love the jacket and I am also picky about fabrics
ОтветитьThanks for the vlog, great to see what’s over in Canada. Have a great holiday. If you buy some bargains over there during the week, we’d love to see them styled up once you get home. 😊
ОтветитьThanks for sharing TO adventures Monica enjoy your holiday ❤
ОтветитьLove these videos...
ОтветитьFascinating to see how they do Thrift Shops abroad…..hopefully…the mega stores will catch on here ….they are few and far between in the uk…have a great holiday….😉
ОтветитьLoved this video! So fun! Your evening outlet looked so nice! Very chic indeed. I couldn't believe the size of the shops there. Can't wait to see more of your Canadian visit.🥰🥰🥰
ОтветитьHi! Brand new to your channel (this is my first vlog by you); love it! Many thanks to Sophie for the recommendation! And I love that hubby actually shops with you! I did like the polyester jacket, though! Lol!
ОтветитьWelcome to Toronto summers! They are hot. Enjoy your stay (my daughter lives near Ossington and Queen, a very hip and happening neighbourhood! So many lovely little shops and restaurants. Also, enjoy your stay at the cottage. Canada’s true treasure; all our wilderness and lakes.
ОтветитьValue Vintage and in US they are called Savers
ОтветитьHavent been back to Toronto since my honeymoon 20 years ago you took me back down memory lane thanks px
ОтветитьValue village yes in America. Not a charity .
ОтветитьEnjoy your stay in Toronto. I will check out the consignment store on ossington.
ОтветитьGo back and get the jacket!!! It looked great on you 😀
ОтветитьWelcome to Toronto, my hometown. If you like high end consignment, try VSP consignment at 1410 Dundas st. Cheaper than I Miss You. Lots of very nice vintage stores on Dundas as well. Tip for shopping at value village, always ask if they will mark down the price. Anything that's been on the floor for more than 2 weeks, the salespeople can mark down for you. There's a massive Value village at Bloor and Lansdown and a new boutique one at Queen and Bathurst, very close to little Italy. Happy shopping!
ОтветитьI was led to believe Value Village is owned by Walmart, please correct me if I’m wrong ????
ОтветитьLovely vlog.
Ответитьboth types please 👜
ОтветитьI loved the jacket with the chain! Perfect for the Christmas season and for the price if you wore it once you would get your moneys worth lol love this one 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
ОтветитьLoved the video Monica. Enjoyed coming shopping with you and your husband. He indeed has a good eye for style! Fantastic items in both stores. The black jacket you bought really suits you. The one with the gold chain trim....you might have got tired of that embellishment after a while? Like this style of Vlog or the to camera style equally. Have a great time catching up with your Family and enjoying your Holiday ❤
Ответить❤
ОтветитьMonica I loved this you need to do more❤ and that jacket, girlllll you need to go back and get it it was stunning, beautiful fit and the gold chain was gorgeous❤❤❤
ОтветитьI am in USA. If I had the money to fly to Toronto, if I had the money to stay there, if I had the money for expensives and travel around there- I would go. Not on my limited income. Can't even travel locally. I am on my own.
I think you probably have a much better income then me.😊 Don't even own a car because it is too expensive for me, so I take the bus EVERYWHERE. What is 30 degrees?? That's two degrees below 32 Fahrenheit here in USA. 30 degrees is very cold!! Sorry, don't know metric here.
Great vlog and such wonderful finds, I loved the cute chain jacket. Have an amazing holiday xx
ОтветитьI’m really glad you didn’t buy the chain jacket. Not because it’s polyester, but because it didn’t hang evenly. If you watch the footage, you kept reaching up to pull it even, but it kept falling unevenly again. Badly-cut clothes can never be bargains!
ОтветитьYou should have bought the “Chanel “ jacket with the chain… very nice and unusual.
ОтветитьMonica, my sister lives in Toronto, when I visit I always go to value village and other thrift shops. Enjoy ❤. Jacket is a thumbs down. Love both style of videos
ОтветитьValue Village is Savers in Australia. They are a for profit in collaboration with chosen charity organisations...lots and lots of stock especially shoes and bags, oh....and books!
ОтветитьI like the vlog style video... I am glad you didn't buy the jacket, the chain was giving cheap vibes and would prob fall off. I feel like it would be off brand for you to buy something polyester hahaha
ОтветитьIt’s a small world after all. This is the first time that I stumbled on your channel and there you were, right smack in my neighborhood. The consignment shop is just a minutes away from me. I am so proud of my neighborhood, it has become one of the “It” places in the city.
