Key Advice Learning a New Spec

Start with your core spells. Get comfortable with your rotation then start to pepper in more things like cds and utility.

After reading jacks guide i went from struggling to heal players as shadow to struggling to dps as disc; thanks jack i couldnt have done it without you.

My question is, why does neither the Icy Veins guide or Priest Discord recommend a poh based build? It's clearly pretty decent. The discord also doesn't link to your wowhead guide so I'm curious if there's some history there or if they're inting lmao

I remember some really good encounters for Prayer of Healing: Unfortunately, all the "push back" that delayed the casting made it pretty scary to use. So, I normally opted for Binding Heal instead. It's funny too, because I had a Restro Druid watching me, then afterwards, he asks in raid chat: "What is Binding Heal ?" LOL :P
