Thank you!
ОтветитьI wish that video makers would specify what exact paper is being used in each video. It seems like it gets forgotten and new people would benefit from hearing what tools are used and maybe we could know what to buy
ОтветитьHi Simon, I'm using the older flat foams for my Distress Inks & the domed foams for my Distress Oxides, since I heard that you shouldn't use the same foams for dyes vs oxides.
ОтветитьLooks great!
ОтветитьI wonder how these domed blending foams will work with stencils.
ОтветитьThank you for taking time to show us this extraordinary collection!
ОтветитьVery nice blending on the new foam pads. But you blend good with all the tools you used. 😊
ОтветитьGreat idea but why isnt it available here in the UK not prepared to pay excess taxes/postage! When will it be available in the UK.
ОтветитьThanks for sharing 🤗
ОтветитьThanks Simon! I am sold! :)~Kim
ОтветитьHello from Dallas. Simon! I love your new look. You look so handsome and so grown up. I love your videos. More, please. Lol
ОтветитьAm so happy you did this video, i have struggled with ink blending with the regular flat foam pads but i see how these dome foam pads can be a complete game changer .. Gosh we'd be lost without you Simon! Thanks for doing this review❤️
ОтветитьI don’t blend very well. I will have to try these. Thank you Simon for the demo. I would never have thought to use these
ОтветитьBlending with the domed pads Looks great, effortless quick and effective.
Thanks for the update.
I love the domed foam, Simon! I've been using them for a while now for my Oxides and they are great. I never was able to master the flat foam attachments, so I was thrilled when I got the domed foam and found out how well they worked. I still have the old daubers and my blending brushes for my Gina K. and Simon Hurley inks, but I will probably be switching those old daubers over to the domed foam too. I totally agree that both are needed for the two different looks you get - softer with the brushes, darker with the foam, and I'm one of those "gotta have it all" types!
ОтветитьI don’t usually blend inks as I have trouble with the smoothness. But now I’ve seen how the domed pads and brushes work I will probably invest in both. Also at present buying ranger inks trying to build up my collection. Looking forward to practicing with my blending.
ОтветитьI ordered mine, so excited to try a different style.
ОтветитьI could CARELESS about the foam blending brushes. What I wanted to comment on is how GREAT you Look!
ОтветитьThink I will probably switch out gradually as my old foams wear down. The flat foams to sometimes tear when switching them, think more my impatience, not the product itself.
ОтветитьHave the scrapbook .Com ones and like how they work but not with stencils. I found it roughed up the foam and it will no longer work for a smooth blend. Thanks ranger
ОтветитьHmm, I’ll need to keep looking into this. My problem was the foam becoming separated from the hook and loop tape (Velcro). Maybe with the more structured base it would last longer.
ОтветитьNice comparison video ! :) Looks like I need new blending foams now.
ОтветитьI have never been good with the foam blending tools. This might be worth trying. Thanks for the camparison.
ОтветитьGreat comparison. Thank you!
Ответитьnice of you to make this video, since you and Tim use them in a (slightly) different way :)
ОтветитьThese look like they perform really well. You use them very well, too. You're a wonderful blender! (I saw you at Tim's release today -- more good stuff, right?) Thanks for sharing this view from another perspective.
ОтветитьThanks for a great overview! I was hoping you would compare them with blending brushes - thank you!
ОтветитьThanks Simon! You always have good products to demonstrate!
ОтветитьThanks Simon, I agree the domed sponges are so much better.
ОтветитьI’ve had trouble with the lines and the old flat sponges. I like using the brushes for some things, foam for heavier applications of colour and edges. I’ll be switching to the domes. Thanks for the review!
ОтветитьJust saw these with Tim just couldn’t comment. Love them will be getting them
ОтветитьYay! Life changing foam! Won’t cost $50-$80 for a set👍
ОтветитьGreat Video ❤️
ОтветитьDo you find the domes get caught on stencils?
ОтветитьI learned ink blending with Tim/Ranger’s round foams so am used to them and love them. I tried another company’s domed foams and they seemed a bit scratchy and harder - but that could be because of being so used to Tim’s. I’m curious if the new Tim/Ranger foams are like the other domed foams or if they’re a little softer. I’m sure I’ll try them to thanks for your take! (Long handled lending brushes and the shorter so-called ergonomic ones don’t hurt my hand after a short time no matter how they’re held. Minor old injury/bit of arthritis.)
ОтветитьI appreciated your review. Ive never been a fan of rangers standard blending sponges bit thats what we had. I love the brushes tho it is time consuming to get saturation. I keep hearing about the domed sponges. Your review has convinced me to try them. Thanks.
ОтветитьCan’t wait to try the domed foam!
ОтветитьLove domed blenders.
ОтветитьI am wondering how the domed blending foams would work with stencils? I think that the flat ones work well in some cases.
ОтветитьVery informative so Thank You!
ОтветитьGreat comparison and review Simon.
ОтветитьThank you for your test, I really like the blending brushes and that’s what I’m using at this time.
ОтветитьFirst of all, your hair is rockin today! Rockstar! Second, thank goodness for these new foams cuz I am not happy with the others. Always separating from the Velcro. Can’t wait to get these! TFS! 🤗
ОтветитьI received a similar set of these free from a popular online store that gives away a lot of nice freebies, but haven't used them. I was excited to see Tim has some now (cuz I LOVE Tim!) and had you not demoed them, I would've just kept using the old flat ones. I use them mainly to blend my Dylusions paints, but now that her paint line has been reformulated, blending it is more, uh, I'll say it's not how it once was when the paints were in the jars. Perhaps these domes will be less streaky with the paints. Thank you Simon! Gonna give it a go :-)
ОтветитьI’m glad you showcase these today Simon because I have been on the fence about them you did a beautiful job!
