Maybe the problems of Africa have something to do with AFRICANS.
Is there any Black majority, Black ruled country anywhere on earth that is not a chaotic shithole?
This is a standard in all Subsaharan Africa.
ОтветитьFunny how they are so worried about tax fraud but not their crime rate, murder etc
ОтветитьHopeless country
ОтветитьMJ Voice “All I want to say is that they don't really care about us”
ОтветитьBlame the leaders not the companies.. this is nonsense
ОтветитьYugoslavia was in Non-Aligned Movement, one of the rare European countries who didn't use Africa in any sense, we made their youth to come here to school themselves.
ОтветитьThis is enough reason for having an African prioritized TV station.
Such info you'll never in any MSM station in Africa.
I have lived in Uganda for 20 years. Unfortunately this video can be made in East Africa as well. These practices are happening everywhere in Africa. The leadership in Africa is very often bought by these large cooperations being corrupt. I am so happy to see the new leadership is taking action in Zambia to make the mistakes from the past correct. I hope my Ugandans take this at heart and demand the same actions from the Ugandan leaders
ОтветитьWe are living with all this wealth yet thousands of kilometres people benefits, living luxurious lifestyle yet we can't even afford balanced meal with all this wealth in oùr land
ОтветитьInstead of offering foreign aid as a part of some weird fraudulent non-cash contribution scheme these organizations could start to pay outright to respective government agencies the value of the natural resources being extracted.
It's been obvious that it ought to be done in such a way for centuries now.
As a Zambian, having travelled to European countries. This is so hurtful to the country that actually has these mineral resources. They should have never been sold for peanuts at all. We should be making massive amounts and profits of money. To develop and grow our nation. This is not independence when the main source of wealth is not controlled by foreigners.
Ответить😢 I am Zambian and seen this truth makes me so sad i wish we can benefit from our minerals
ОтветитьThat africans minister said we are wealty but we are poor,,,f*** yall, yall mot****fakers, why allow Glens took it, why not do that youself, THE WHY 😢
ОтветитьI am Zambian, and I think all the Zambian managers, ministers and presidents who served in Zambia should be brought to the books. They are totally answerable to all the problems and suffering we are going through currently.
ОтветитьLessons from this: 1. Don't trust the West in general. Especially not their Legal systems, policies and regulations. 2. Never let the West pontificate to you about ethics and morals. They have none. 3. Even during the slave trade, Africans, many prominent, collaborated with the enslavers. So your first enemy is in our midst. 4. Trade amongst other African countries first.
ОтветитьIf you are here in 2024 for your academic work, let's gather here❤️❤️. This is a whole lot but out media houses will never bring this to educate us.
ОтветитьAnyone here from ,Hermes [whyUs254] .Big Times👊
ОтветитьGOD BLESS ENGLAND

This is such an emotional hack of a documentary; Africans are non-stop described as having no agency. If no tax is being paid over the copper extracted in Zambia; why isnt the Zambian government taxing it? That is one of the primary functions of government and that copper is going nowhere! Why put the blame on some European company? This 'documentary' wants us to believe the cheap idea that 'white evil, black victim'. Of course European businessmen are looking out for their interests, what exactly is nefarious about that? I wouldn't expect a businessman to pay tax if he can get away not doing it. The West has taught the Africans what copper is, how to delve it, how to have government, how to export, so get on with it! Delve the copper, tax it properly and use that tax to build factories such that over time more and more of the production chain is in Zambia which will strongly increase the bartering position of Zambians on the global market. That is how every country on the planet has built up it's economy! All this crying over spilled milk is not going to help a soul on this planet.
ОтветитьWhat an effort, well organised, lots of research and unscripted documentary...but the victim of pollution very sad!!
ОтветитьShame.
ОтветитьNo one will stand up for us Africans, no one will empathise with us, no one will come to our 'rescue' save ourselves. All these hopeless and useless leaders always waiting cluelessly for one saviour from Europe and America to save Africa, it is like calling a Cat to come keep a secure watch on a bowl of fried fish. African Leaders! stop corruption and wake up, hold the interest of your countries at heart and take them to the heights they belong.
ОтветитьI am ashamed of such leaders , a president stealing to buy shoes
ОтветитьHow do we as Africans sacrifice so much for so little. Shame to the AU. Still wonder why the likes of mangufuli and gadafi had to go. From kenya but we have the biggest idiot leading us. Trump is racist but he says things as they are. Hope he whips these idiots into shape
ОтветитьThe Why pls we need a same documentry in Ghana too much bribery and corruption
ОтветитьThe Why pls we need a same documentry in Ghana too much bribery and corruption
ОтветитьThey call it investment as if they actually cared about people in Africa. It's only an investment for the European countries because they pay shamefully low prices on raw materials and makes mad profit. Not investment it's theft
ОтветитьIt is Zambia's high ranking political leaders and elites who allowed the over exploitation of Zambian copper by allowing rich foreign Multinational Corporations to pay less Corporation Tax, and pocket the difference. The sane military of Zambia of the calibre of Captain Ibrahim Traore of Burkina and Colonel Assimi Goïta of Mali should overthrow the Zambian government and ban all foreign mimeral Multinational Corporations from mining and shipping abroad raw copper and gold.
ОтветитьIMPERIALISM & THE MERCILESS EXPLOITATION of AFRICA'S MINERALS🦜
🌄
Like those plundering the Congo and just about all other parts of Africa, the operators of Zambia's copper mines are racist Zionists who see black Africans as slaves and Africa's mineral resources as their private properties. Fortunately for them, many of our corrupt so-called African leaders are willing enablers of Imperialism's scorched-earth minerals extraction. Africa's puppets of Imperialism have callously allied with our worst enemies to perpetually impoverish black Africans, and the situation is getting worse daily🔯
Who else is here in 2025?
ОтветитьI'm really frustrated, if I make a comment about how south african BEE companies are set up by foreign corporations with a bribed person of color heading the face of the company so that the foreign company can keep extracting resources cheaply.... it gets deleted or disappears.
Ответить39.00 President Levi Mwanwasa probably died due to international witchcraft after they suspended paying the new taxes. This is Africa where corruption and witchcraft are the same.
ОтветитьI'm Kenyan. I have found this link through X discussion on the DR Congo crisis going on now. Glencore is corporately liable for the suffering of 20 million Zambians while the citizens of Switzerland have an excellent quality of life at their expense. The leaders are also personally liable for the stealing of the wealth of Zambia. May the Zambian government nationalize the mines again and may revolutions spread again in Africa to overthrow the neo colonialists.
ОтветитьDirt- dirt- dirt!
ОтветитьWhy dont zambians have jobs? Well, then what is a job? A job produces something or provides a service that people are willing to pay for. So what do people in zambia buy foreign technology, foreign clothing, foreign everything. So if you have a zambian business hiring zambian engineers, laborers and designers rather than all foreigners you will have jobs. How do you do that? Kick out all the foreigners you see in the video and force zambians to buy zambian products
ОтветитьThis vice president is a joke. "I can't just go up to a miner with an AK-47." Sir, you are the vice president of this country. It is your duty to enforce the laws of your country. If a company is evading taxes, yes, going up to them with AK-47s and arresting them is exactly what I would expect of you. Since he's not doing this, I'm forced to conclude that he's on the take just like the rest of them.
ОтветитьThis is heartbreaking. Do we really elect leaders who have our interests? Shame on them
ОтветитьI have only discovered this after 12 years of it's upload, as a Zambian I'm disappointed in myself.
ОтветитьTill this time, same thing is happening in Zambia corruption at its best! There’s no business opportunities for young Zambians citizens yet the copper and gold and other minerals are higher! It’s like watching this documentary 12 years later and still the same old story.. the corrupt politicians government Zambian government defaulted on their debt. The money went into the government ministries buying fancy cars European cars which you can’t afford for maintenance and yet the Zambian people are suffering..
ОтветитьThis would never happen in the West
😢😢😢😢
I blame the greedy governments that allow this to continue! People being poisoned in broad daylight!
ОтветитьThis is painful. I couldn't finish watching the whole thing😢
ОтветитьI come from Zambia, i can assure you that a majority of people have accepted this as the normal lifestyle. Especially my generation, they don't like such conversations, you star talking about this you're seen to be boring, because such is not their interest. The people who can drive change concerning this , are interested in drinking, sex life, those are the trending activities. Otherwise as Africans we've suffered a lot. If we had half a people take interest, we'd have a different conversation
Ответитьsomething must be Done
ОтветитьAs a Zambian, it breaks my heart every time I watch this.
ОтветитьThis old white man is the only white person in the world who wants to help the world in fairness. Where are the young good people of this world?
ОтветитьThis is very painful and angering to watch
How we have been ripped off of our wealth for lots of years and nothing has been done administration after administration
If they had Traore.
ОтветитьIt's 2025 we're currently facing these same and exact challenge....tax breaks, corruption, dependencies and pollution's just to mention a few😢
