Well we got the Intel arc dgpus now

PCIe is backwards compatible like AGP and USB was. The version doesn't matter, as a card only utilizes the bus width it's given anyways. Only time it does matter is when you want to use the hardware to match the bus offered from the board... I thought most tech guys knew that?

Welp there goes the notion of touching Cards with your bare hands will harm the card and or the socket this card is to plug into the pcie? Like I've have been always told "Do not touch the cards chip connection where it connects to the pcie slot an the mother board? Ha Ha Ha I guess they were all wrong?

Spit balling here, but could you tie it to say something like a 3070 and have it maybe beat out a 3090, or even a 4090?

You should retest this and see if you can get it working as a look back for how far it's came

The issue with these is that you need a special BIOS that of course I belive you can only get from working in intel.
