Ely is lovely. We have been once before but it was during the Jubilee in 2022 and it was so busy. Also we couldn't find anywhere to park apart from a 2 hour car park so thank you for telling us about the long stay car park. We are going back end of July and looking forward to it.

If you get to visit the east coast of Scotland ( Fife ) there is an Elie there ( spelt differently) no cathedral but a tower by the sea that Lady Janet Anstruther used to skinny dip from 😮 apparently a bell was rung which meant no one could look whilst she was taking a swim ! The pub is great but expect it is similar prices now , it is very popular but is right opposite a lovely beach x

Hello again Andrew and Clare. Great to see Ely. Went there many years ago, the cathedral is very impressive. Used to catch eels in the river Arrow at the bottom of my dads garden in Wixford. Took them to my grans in Alcester, she would skin them ,cook them and eat them on toast. Love all of Clare's facts about places you visit. The prices for food are out of control in the Uk so expensive. Really enjoyed your video from Ely,good the weather is still warm. Take care all the best Tim Melbourne ❤.

Great Ely loved watching that, only a small tiny little fact, a city doesn’t have to have a cathedral for city status, it’s about the seat, in particular a Bishop’s seat, so likes of York? No cathedral, however has a bishops seat in the minster, oh and the smallest in the uk, is in Millport, Isle of Cumbrae in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🎉

British tourism is the best and quickest way to lose your money.. Sadly we just give and give to the point where we expect stupid prices. It would be ok if you got `value for money` but you rarely do these days. Lovely place but pricey and leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth, knowing that families are being asked to pay £20 for Fish and Chips.. Great video guys X.
