My Discovery Princess Mini Suite Cruise to Mexico

Hubby and I are going on Discovery in January and are so excited. This video is incredibly helpful and well done. I think we might try the sanctuary!!

I was on the Discovery last year in Alaska, loved the ship. I had a mini suite, lowest bid and got it. Princess is my favorite cruise line hands down.

Great video! The Mexican Riviera on Discovery Princess was my first cruise. It was so enjoyable, and I am hooked.

All of my Princess experiences to date have been on the Regal Princess which has been my favorite ship to date across all lines. Your video is allowing me to sleep nights as the last thing that I did in August before embarking on a 30 night Alaska-Hawaii series of cruises on HAL and Celebrity was to book a 29 day cruise from Seattle - Singapore on Discovery Princess in 2025.

I agree with you that Princess has some of the best buffets in cruising. I will say that on certain lines like HAL, the buffet is not ridiculously crowded on embarkation day as the flow on the ship is more gradual than some cruise lines.

Nice Video! Agree that Discovery is one of the best ships at sea. We sailed her to Hawaii in March and will be on her again next week. Glad to see Cole is still the CD. He is amazing as well. Thanks for posting.

We have a back-to-back cruise on the Sun Princess scheduled for next year. Thank you for the helpful tips as this will be our first experience with the back-to-back process. We will be staying in the same stateroom; however, I’m pretty sure the process will be the same. On the Sun Princess, we will be in “Sanctuary” class, so we’ll see how that works. Those excursions looked fantastic! Thanks again.

We also had Cole as our cruise director on our August 2023 cruise to Alaska on the Ruby. And again in November on Discovery. He is one of the best.

We love love love Cole. Cruised with him on the Discovery July 2024. Hope to cruise with him again. SO much fun.

Yes I did a back to back cruise with Cole Back in April 2024 during the eclipse sailing! He was very funny, friendly and entertaining!

We are booked for a mini suite in January on the Discovery and are looking forward to it! We have been on Grand, Ruby and Star. Star might be my favorite so far because of the aft lounge we went to each night on our Hawaii cruise, it was mostly empty with amazing views. Sad to see it is gone now but the itinerary and being in Christmas helped make the memories for that ship and I think Discovery will take the spot for favorite ship very soon.

Thanks for sharing your experience on second leg of your B2B cruise. We love booking the Sanctuary at least once every cruise during afternoon tea time and the future cruise deposit while onboard is a no brainer for sure!
