I need this on both feet and I’ve avoided going to get evaluated :(.
I hate my feet and don’t want to out anyone thru having to deal with them either but I’m almost 50 and I’m sure when I’m old that they will be worse.
I can’t feel the skin on my big toes already. I went in when I was like 24 and asked for the surgery. My nana and my aunts all had to have it done and I wanted to get it done when I was young. The doc to,d me I was “vain” since I wasn’t yet having pain. Well….decades later and I still don’t have actual pain in the bunions but I sure bet if I could feel them I might. That doc gave me ptsd about anyone checking my feet lest they think I only want them yo “look pretty”. I’d just like not to have to hug a shoe 2 sizes too big or have to wear crocs all the time. Also would love to feel my toes.

I learned something today. Thank you for the medical lesson! This is very interesting what the body can (or can't) do. How would this be treated....surgically? I cringe when I think the Achilles Tendon is involved.
