The entire production, every facet of it down to the smallest detail, was carefully and painstakingly conceived to be an overtly massive F**k YOU to what the woke elite consider to be "the Deplorables", i.e: normal folks. This is exactly what Disney wanted and there's no mistaking it. First off, their two most important actresses/characters were chosen because of their diametrically opposed viewpoints. One is a Jew who served in the IDF to protect fellow Jews, and the other hates Jews and would love nothing more than to see Jews wiped off the face of the Earth, a huge exponent of Intifada. The notion that someone who looks like Gal Gadot, a model, who also acts, should play the part of someone JEALOUS of Rachel Zegler's "beauty" is as farcically improbable as placing a Jew with a Jew-hater on the same stage. Just those two elements right there should have told everyone enough about what Disney was thinking when they chose those two to play those parts.
Then, Snow White and the 7 Dwarves, the dwarves an integral part of the story, became simply Snow White because somehow Peter Dinklage became King of the dwarves, dictating swarf matters universally. Somehow, he became the totalitarian arbiter of all things dwarven and what he says goes, his word Dwarf-Law.
Rachel didn't disappoint them or scuttle anything. They KNEW exactly what she would do, that's exactly what they got, and "evidently so". This was a "F**k You" to Trump, Trump voters, Israel, and everyone else who isn't a woke as Disney right from the House of Mouse to America.
The money lost will be recouped. Paid back to them in spades, under the table, from their Democrat partners various government slush funds. A $250 million dollar loss? Hardly. I went to watch the film with my auntie because we were both relatively unaware of all the controversy surrounding the film, we both left the cinema underwhelmed and disappointed. Disney essentially made a separate film and slapped the ‘Snow White’ title on it. If we watched this film without any context or information given to us we wouldn’t have guessed that this film was produced by Disney themselves..
