Someone on Reddit said Louis CK said this previously. Believe it or not, I'm not able to watch everything every comic says. For the record, many comics know this trick. But not all of you do. So credit whoever you'd like. Comedian Buzz Sutherland passed this down to me in 1997. I heard it a couple times since. And now whomever watches this knows it too.
ОтветитьTravis Simmons tolds me this. scarry shit but now i have herard it from 2 people. good stuff thanks!!!
Ответитьhey, welcome back
ОтветитьThe homie @tyroneburston told me this YEARS AGO.
ОтветитьIn your opinion, in the first couple years, should people be trying to build there 10 then 15 then 20..., or just accumulate as much material as possible, and cobble together longer sets for shows as they come? Maybe having a variety of 10's and 15's and 20's, rather than THE 10, 15, and 20.
Another question, when fancy comics are working on their hour, what do they do with all the new material they write when they've got the hour mapped out? Just save it for the next hour? Do comics not worrying about a special tend to have more flexibility? Or was it still "This is my 45"?
I have lots of untried material. Yet to get on stage. I keep writing to stay motivated. I live 3 hours from a comedy club and can’t sync up time off work to the open mic bars when they’re available in town. Any solutions? Start my own open mic or move closer to comedy clubs are the only solutions I see. What say ye?
ОтветитьI’m revisiting your past videos to help me focus on my set for my gig Feb 1st. Glad they’re here.
ОтветитьI'm scared to do this, but it has to be done.
Took my set and copy pasted the closer bit to the top.
Thanks for this
Brilliant
