Half of the information on this video just isn't true. It's got zero start, doesn't cost $600 it's £344 on Amazon along with loads of other wrong information on this video. I know, I own this scooter .

Hi, I’m worried about the tires, do the tires get flat often?
I’m the hiboy s2pro, turboant x7 max, and the niu kqi 2 pro, which one would you recommend to be my first e-scooter?

Add indicators to all their line up front and back, get official ip rating certified for ip55 at least and up this to 350-400 watts (up the kqi 3 up to 500 watts of course) and same price or minimal increase and I really think Niu could dominate the market under 1000 price bracket. I really like how their handlebars click into the back and have a one push release rather than some that have fiddly hooks u have to raise up from the deck or pull out from the stem. Halo light is pretty cool. Be great to see them attempt one with suspension also! 😀

I am looking for range, and if I can put a extra battery for range this is my first scooter, I want range I want to commute around town, grocery going to the gym and friends house. And have fun on the weekends with it. Price range is 500-600 and would like to upgrade it as well with bigger tires and battery extended If I can add it for range. And waterproof too. I was looking at the hi boy s2 but just came across this and it looks better. Also I need lights because I’ll be riding in night as well.

I bought one after considering the Ninebot E45E and the KQi3 Pro.

The KQi3 Pro was a bit too much for the budget I had, and the E45E doesnt seem that good, so I got the KQi2 Pro.

First surprise out of the box, the app doesnt have the "cruise control" feature, maybe that's exclusive to the north american version, no big deal, as it wasnt the feature that made me choose this one over the Ninebot, but still, a bit dissapointed.

Also, the scooter will always scan using BT to find a phone to connect to, which is a bad idea as it will take a bit of range away from you. A better implementation would have deactivated BT maybe 30s (Or have the user choose it in the app) after start-up (Or disconnecting a phone) if it doesnt find a phone to connect to. I'm sure this can be fixed via an OTA update, so maybe they'll do it ? I dont know if they listen to their customers suggestions.

The front break is basically useless on his own, so even if you just want to kick it like a normal scooter you better keep it turned on, otherwise you'll end up crashing in whatever you wanted to avoid.

Now, this may sound like a lot of negativity, but dont get me wrong, I love this beast, I assembled it 4 days ago and I already put around 150km in, it is indeed very well built, the scooter doesnt crack or make weird noise while riding, the range is good, I got around 30km at 25km/h. The app, while lacking in features IMO, is smooth but the translation... heh, let's just say they did their best.
I also noticed it catches some looks, people are so used to seeing Xiaomis and Ninebots that seeing a new "face" surprises them, and I'm pretty sure at least one of those people considered trying to find it online.

Guys, thank you for the incredible amount of work you put into your detailed reviews, truly appreciate it! I'm about to pull the trigger on either the KQi2 Pro or KQi3 Pro this week. In looking at the specs it actually looks like the KQi2 pro's handlebars are actually a couple of inches taller than the more expensive KQi3. I'm around 6'4 and was leaning towards the KQi3, but if the handle height is actually taller on the KQi2 pro I'll go with that one. Can you please confirm from your testing?

Also, wondering if the deck shape and slightly greater width makes a noticeable difference for larger size 12+ feet on the 3pro, or if the higher handlebar on the 2pro is a better tradeoff? Thanks again for the excellent work!

Thanks so much for the review! I had a budget of 450€ (472$) for a scooter and it looked like the best I could do for that money in my home country was the Xiaomi Mi Scooter 3. I was hesitant though because there was no in-depth online review on it and I would have liked to buy a scooter that you guys tested before so I know what I am getting into.
However rather than the usual 599€ the scooter costs, NIU dropped the Price in Europe to 499€! On top of that their website had a promo where they gave me a whopping 50€ discount which made the final price 449€, ultimately fitting EXACTLY into my budget! For this price, this thing seems unbeatable! Can't wait for it to arrive!
