Great info. SE WA here!
ОтветитьIsn't that also the kid that invented the Mosquito killing device? Didn't he also invent a device to make a car's engine burn fuel more efficiently? That kid is impressive as an inventor. This reeks of the device that you can build at home with a copper coil to power your whole house-- which is a scam!
ОтветитьIf you want a great EDC at a great price point there is a local California company FMK they make an awesome 9mm (under $300 ) that’s not a crap hi point or Glock
Had a Glock sold it I purchased the FMK and love it the company is also amazing to work with . The customer service is amazing
Something I never see anyone talk about when it comes to prepping is fire protection. I never see a fire extinguisher or blanket. the risk of fire will be greater in a crisis because you will be tired, stressed, you are using candles and you may never have used an alcohol burner before.
ОтветитьHello everybody. I have been storing supplies for a while. I have water. But I just started to look at the city fire hydrant on my property as a potential resource to use. I have multiple purification methods I would use to clean the water. But my question is how long would that water stay pressurized for me. Any city or water workers in the comments?
ОтветитьWhat is the reason you do not own a Garmin watch? Is there a defect in it?
ОтветитьA good video. Iook forward to seeing a review of your bug out bag. Cheers from England.
ОтветитьGreat video! Thanks for the info!
Ответитьwow, im a prepper too and a painting contractor
ОтветитьWhat’s that bedroll under your backpack it looks good I might want one
ОтветитьI carry a g19 but for someone starting out thats on a budget the psa dagger is a glock clone and a decent pistol. Great content as usual brother!!
ОтветитьLove your videos so far dude!
ОтветитьMy EDC handgun is an M17 I absolutely love it and it came with two 21 round mags and a 17 round mag, as for my knife is an openel #7 it's a French cheese knife but out of the box it's super sharp and is great for everything. My openel knife hasn't been sharpened in 3 years and it's still razor sharp.
3 River kydex will make a holster for you.
ОтветитьGet the m&p compact, it's the same thing as the shield, just slightly bigger, 15 round magazines and it has a comfier grip than the g19. It's like a g19 but way prettier and more comfortable to shoot.
ОтветитьHowdy from Eastern WA. Earned my follow! Keep it up!
ОтветитьGood video. Thanks you, One day I hope to make a B.O.B and have my own workshop haha. Be safe 🫂
ОтветитьGood talk
ОтветитьI like your light option. I run an L lamp with a light bar in the handle and a head band it snaps into. I just wish it had red light like yours
ОтветитьRuger Security 9 might be a good choice for edc firearm. It comes with two 15 rd mags. Ruger makes an extension for 17 rds. It's a tough, dependable pistol.
ОтветитьSeconds away. Prep
ОтветитьDo you have a video on your family’s gear if you have to leave home? What that looks like as a group collective and how you may share the equipment between the group. What you have in place if you get separated, etc.
ОтветитьGood video, I recommend the sig 365XL for a new CCW.
ОтветитьMy edc choice is sig p365 9mm with sig red dot and surefire light and my choice for open carry (for farm/land use and hunting and fishing) would be th sig p226 xfive legion chambered in 9mm with sig red dot and surefire light and rear sight. And for rifles I have my do it all ar-15 build and a sig cross 308 bolt action for long range and hunting, a ruger 10/22, and a shotgun mossberg 940 pro field chambered in 12gauge with sig Romeo red dot
And many more guns but the ones listed are my must haves! Thanks for reading y’all!😃
I run 9mm Speer gold tips 124gr
Ответитьi'm a watch collector and was just wondering what watch you are wearing, looks like a g shock but couldn't really tell
ОтветитьThe thing I always hear is people saying they are bugging out to the woods. Maybe you should watch the show alone before you try that.
ОтветитьThat medical kit would be a good place to hide a darringer. Don't forget about a solar sun cooker.
ОтветитьYou repeat stuff way to much brother it’s so annoying lol
ОтветитьI am still working on my bug out kit in my Roam case with wheels. With a 9 year old on the spectrum it’s our last resort. Finances limit the amount of kits possible at this time. So for me it’s my EDC sling bag, 32L GHB (contents vary), Roam case, wife’s go bag, son’s go bag. Another great video Idaho
ОтветитьI’m excited to see the bug out bag video! I have the fac track as well but I’d like to see how you set it up!
Ответитьcool flashlight
ОтветитьThanks for the info. I want to start a channel and see if some of these companies can send me the products and I would test the hell out them .
ОтветитьTatoos are a red flag and indicate you are not right with God… if you had them before you were born again is one thing but if uou are getting tats after being born again you are deceived.
ОтветитьWhat mark your backpack ?
ОтветитьNothing is more important than water. Step 1 is always water. Your EDC only lasts 3 days without water.
How about water?
Water water water. 🎉😂
Bro 3i holsters, Zanesville OH.
ОтветитьSolar generators can produce something in an overcast situation. Test your system in that situation.
ОтветитьThis is a short few paragraphs meant to encourage and inspire. Wife and I are in our 60's, retired and not worrying about money, inflation, politics, storms, outages shortages or the end of civilization
Skills/hobbies between my wife and I, gardening, canning, fermenting, fishing, filleting, sewing, crocheting, cooking, making wine and vinegar, baking, vine dressing, masonry, interior painting, landscaping, camping, musician, reading history, engineering, science, candle making, drywall, herb lore and bible, shooting, reloading, cycling, bicycle maintenance, hiking, meat cutting, tree trimming and dropping, small engine maintenance, rope splicing, first aid, hospice, sharpening blades and chain saws, candle making, herbal tincture and salve making, chemical process engineering, kitchen management, kitchen cleaning and maintenance, writing work instructions, technical articles and fiction.
Skills, you have little to lose by trying to do things yourself and a lot to gain by picking up a new skill. I'd never laid block or brick, but that raised bed that shows up on google earth, and the one that hasn't shown up yet, those would have cost me thousands to have professionally made. Everyone compliments them and would like me to build them one. Reloading, follow the instructions, pay close attention. Sharpening, trial and error. Now my pocket knives and fixed blades all shave hair easily. My axe is light but sweet chopping. Bicycle maintenance, that was 30 years ago when out of necessity I had to ride 5,000 miles a year just to get back and forth to work. Many of these skills were on the job, some were just "I'm gonna get what tools I need and give it a try. I suggest to you all to write a list of your skills, both job and non job. What can you do to conserve money. What can you add to the community after we live in small villages again?
We've been eating fresh vegetables since mid May. We've also been canning, freezing, dehydrating and fermenting our harvest since then. And the harvest isn't complete. There's probably sixty more pounds of potatoes, sixty of sweet potatoes, more blackberries on the canes, peppers and tomatoes still coming in. We will have all the green, orange and purple vegetables for the year, more than half the potatoes The herb garden had a good year, producing medicinal, kitchen and household herbs. The compost piles are doing well. I'm using my contacts for manure and sawdust to mix with grass clippings to make great compost for the garden. A new skill, been working on it for two years and getting pretty good. Made some mistakes, but recovered well. And all it cost me was time.
Our gardens total about 1,700 square feet with 20 vegetables and 20 herbs.
The plum and apple trees planted last year are thriving. So are the berry bushes planted each of the past three years, blackberry, blueberry, aronia berry. And this is the third year of grapes, they look better every year. We have 14 fruit trees, 20 berry bushes, a grape vine, raised beds and in the ground gardens on a half acre and the yard still looks nice. This house and yard is turning into a preppers dream home.
We routinely trade for eggs and other fruits. I've been offered a goat anytime I want one. We have a chicken expert who will help us design our hen house when we get to it.
I'm on track to ruck 950 or so miles this year. The dog and I hit the road almost daily by mid August we've only missed five days. The pack leaves the house at 25 pounds or so. The fresh air and exercise even on days when I'd rather not. All it costs me is time and new walking boots every few months. My doctor continues to be impressed. That recommended half hour exercise, three times a week, I'm averaging more than an hour and a half exercise a day. And the dog looks forward to it. I'm making friends and seeing acquaintances which is also good emotionally. I urge you to join me, got a dog, walk it more often.
Wife and I have been to the range a few times this year, now that the garden is slowing up we have more time for it. I've increased the ammo stockpile and the reloading components. We have somewhere between 36 hours and 12 years of ammo, with a realistic estimate being 6 years including current components.
Medical supplies includes things like chest seals, quick clot, suture kit, nitroglycerine, a small amount of morphine tablets and a suture kit. Morphine left from a script when I had a kidney stone. Wife was an EMT, also worked in dialysis and hospice.
Our pantry includes food, baking supplies, home made vinegar, home made wine, spices, salt, pickling supplies, vegetable seeds, hardware, rope, tarps, chain, canning, plumbing, electrical and hardware supplies, hand and power tools for mechanical, carpentry, painting, drywall, gardening, fishing, butchering and masonry. Plus wool and fleece blankets, crocheted afghans, quilts, pillows, a spare bed, two cots. Water, 350 gallons of wash water, 50 gallons of drinking water. Fuel is 45 gallons of gasoline, 45 pounds of propane, 3/4 cord of firewood, gallon of lamp oil, new wicks, about 20 pounds of home made candles. Our food could last us up to a year with some rationing, gardening, scavenging some edible plants and eating more TVP and less meat.
This year's major tool purchases were new rear tine tiller as with the old front tine tiller I could not get a few replacement parts, a two stage snow blower replacing a 17 year old often repaired two stroke single stage. New hand tools, transfer shovel, trenching shovel, spading fork and a new handle on the axe. That new snowblower, I've already paid half of it off clearing snow for neighbors last winter. Replaced the house fire extinguishers this spring. Kidde has one now for kitchens that is white that shoots baking soda.
Goofiest thing done this year as far as prepping, I set up a tomahawk and knife throwing target behind the shed. I've not gotten anywhere near good yet, but it is a skill I'm working on some times.
Please, don't just buy stuff, work on skills, get your exercise, gain some knowledge and finally, tell someone you love them.
Also here in North Idaho. Would be awesome to meetup and talk preps. Like to know how that solar generator operates.
ОтветитьGetting meat is hard in Idaho. It's not cheap, and the deer and elk herds are worse than ever. Must be new to Idaho.
ОтветитьIf you have an HSA account through your employer you can go to the HSA store online and order some pretty awesome first aid kits or supplies.
ОтветитьSince your weather sucks right now you should run the ecoflow down and check how long it will take to charge just so you understand it's potential in the worst case scenario
ОтветитьWater jugs crazy expensive…
ОтветитьThe red light isn't inferred, it is just a red light. Pretty cool tho.
ОтветитьI had a terrible experience with we the people holsters. Garbage, and the customer service was the same.
ОтветитьAbout 10 years ago I tried putting away some water in those reliance water containers I filled them all up out of my well water treated them with bleach properly put them in a dark room and let them sit. Within five years every one of them cracked and leaked.
ОтветитьNeed to look into canning your deer and elk.
