Mustang with T56 Magnum
Just installed a new T56 transmission in my Mustang. A lil run through 4 gears. 1st spins a bit so I shift her a bit easy into 2nd.
Once we swap the engine I'm pretty sure the T5 will fail. I didn't do it for the extra gear. In fact the 6 speed has a taller first 2.66:1 than the T5's 3.35:1. Major rpm drop between gears with the T5. Used to have a 3.73 rear but there is a 3.27 in it now. We will swap back to a 3.73 or 4.10 in the future.
