I am amazed at the range of colours from the Zorn palette! I truly appreciated the different camera angles, music and your commentary throughout. Very well done! And a big thank-you for telling us that this took you 4 hrs + lunch!
I learned a great deal from watching you mix your paints and how you moved your brushes and their description. Nice to know I don't have to spend a fortune since I was given some new brushes from Michaels and didn't really know whether to spend money on "the proper tools".
I have been watching videos for half the day and night and yours was the best by FAR!. Thanks for answering questions in your comment section too—that is rare. From Toronto ☮
very informative i will be painting this one this week with the ZORN PALETTE
ОтветитьNice demo
ОтветитьCan you shut off the background music? You are teaching people the technique of painting, not telling story. I found the background music really bother me from paying full attention. Thanks!
Ответитьno hablo ingles, pero con el arte,no me hace falta
Exelente la didactica de como pintar un rostro
Fantastico!!!!
gracias

ОтветитьThanks for sharing the video. I learned a lot from this. How to judge a portraits discrepancies with reverse seeing and in the mirror? Please explain me. I am a beginner having trouble getting features correctly. With blessings from India.
ОтветитьI would be very interested in a high key portrait demonstration. Thanks very much.
ОтветитьNice many thanks
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful woman, i couldn't resist her. It's hard to believe it's only a painting.
ОтветитьThank you from the Netherlands
ОтветитьHi. I would like you explain as your paint , why you cool a colour down or warm a colour up, where you put warm and cool colours and their influences in the portrait. I think i know that it's to do with shadows but an explanation of when , where and why would complete your excellent commentaries. Thank you so much for giving us your time. By the way I watch in the UK.
ОтветитьI really hope u can replay to me, how do u get the canvas in that color, or is it store bought it like that or what name :)???
Ответитьfounder of angel art academy liked this vid btw
ОтветитьAwesome! Thank you
ОтветитьBack again for a review of this wonderful video. Anyone interested in portrait painting and color will benefit greatly from watching….and reviewing to refresh the memory. Thanks again from a grateful viewer.
ОтветитьFantástico Nice work
Ответитьgorgeous. what did you do w/t painting in the end?
ОтветитьAnders Zorn is from my home town Mora. I have been to his house and museum many times (the house is part of the museum). He was a brilliant painter. He is like the local celebrity for our town, haha!
Didn't know there was such a things as a "Zorn Palette" though.
He had a great saying which is "tvivlar man på egen förmåga skapar man ej stora ting"
Basically "Doubting your own abilities you will not create great things"
I have it framed in my studio. Thank you for a great video! I will subscribe 🙏😊
Great video!! Fascinating to see the mixes for the Zorn palette. I wonder if premixes would make sense if one was to use the palette regularly for portraits? I wonder what Zorn did?
ОтветитьReally liked the tip about the highlight of the eye. I think my next project will be a Zorn master copy. That palette has captured my imagination.
ОтветитьAnother thing that strikes me about the Zorn palette is that it kind of forces/ helps maintain color harmony automatically. Cool
Ответить“Making a painting look effortless takes a whole lot of effort “ true that!
ОтветитьVatican approved colors , earth tones . I remember reading years ago they considered certain colors were responsible for effecting people negatively.
From what I remember about the article I read , but I have always loved the Vatican's art collection so I adopted it just based on its esthetic impact
in relation to nature pre 17th cen. That painting came out great my friend , I usually let it dry then glaze , but I like the energy of the continued flow of alla prima and I can see more color play develop in real time .
Does Water mixable dry quicker than oils..and can you work wet on dry meaning can I take two or three days to finish the work ?
Ответитьdoes not erasing with Medium a lot ends up cracking the paint over time? Why not drawing in pencil first to avoid using medium as an eraser?
Ответитьbeautiful!!!
ОтветитьThanks a lot Yupari for all your amazing videos
ОтветитьYou are truly a remarkable artist. Thanks for sharing your knowledge
Ответитьso sensitive and beautiful. thank you

ОтветитьGreat painting, great length and detailed explanation. Thank you.
ОтветитьGreat demo!!! Thanks for sharing knowledge!!! Greetings from Mexico City
ОтветитьYou amaze me in how you make sense of a bunch of paint and transform it onto something so spectacular. I would love to paint but it would take a century for me to learn to do what you do. Thank you for all your amazing videos.
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьMaravilloso, de los mejores retratos que he visto
ОтветитьGreat painting! Thanks
ОтветитьVery nice!
ОтветитьThank you for your generosity in sharing your technique! You are a fabulous painter and teacher.
ОтветитьVery nice
ОтветитьЧудово!
ОтветитьOthers have said this and I agree. the music is a distraction or rather it's just too loud. You're an excellent teacher, clear
ОтветитьI loved this video❤️thank you
ОтветитьHow do I commission a portrait?
ОтветитьThank you for making this very helpful video. You make portrait painting look effortless!
ОтветитьI ❤ you 😊
ОтветитьI am fascinated by painting portrait skills. To me it is like black magic. I don't understand where how and what makes such great results and i cannot do it. I greatly admire this skill and it completely eludes me. I tried to learn as an autodidact and it was nowhere close from mediocre it was garbage.
When i watch this video with the painter explanation, i don't get it, whatever he says does not explain how he does it. This remains like magic and impenetrable to me.
