Soooooo many times i've done this very thing for exactly the same reason.

I did this once in my amx 50 120 and wiped out a nearly full health t-54 and only took one hit from him and managed to get away before his team could react. he spent the rest of the game telling me how much of a noob I am.

I did the same thing once in the exact same spot, only with my Bulldog with 10 shells in my clip, managed to kill a t54 and leave an IS3 with less than 10% hp, i died also but i changed the odds in our favor by a bunch and won :D
