Steam Deck :: First Impressions From A Console Gamer

I finally got a hold of a Steam Deck... only a year and a half after its initial release, mind! What're my initial thoughts of it??

Although I do have plenty of games on PC, I'm much more of a console gamer. I've preferred having dedicated consoles with games optimised to take advantage of them, rather than having to fiddle with the settings every time I fire up a new game. So will I take to the Steam Deck?
