Aloha everybody! This is Daniel, the GermanGoogleGuy and today I wanna talk to you about the new Google Adwords Extension, the Call Out. We’re gonna talk about the rules that come with these callouts. Call Out Rule #1 is that the advertisements on the top and on the bottom can carry callouts. This is not really a rule that applies, but it is important that you know that, because if your advertisements have a lower average position than three, it is more likely that they do not come with callouts. So, average position better than three, callouts = yes. Next rule, 25 maximum per Call Out. So, just line the headline in a regular Google Adwords advertisement, you’re allowed to have 25 characters maximum per Call Out. No repetition. If you have, for example, free shipping announced in your advertisement, then you’re not allowed to announce the free shipping again in the Call Out. I will show you what I mean. This client of mine – Get A Free Estimate – that’s what he has on the website, so if I would use this in the advertisement - which I am not doing right here – but if I would use Free Estimate in the advertisement, I could not use it as a Call Out Extension. The Call Out Extension would not show up if I use this repetition. Next thing: minimum of 2 callouts or none will be shown. This means that you have to have at least two callouts in your account, or in your ad group, or in your campaign. It depends on where you want to advertise your callouts. You have to have at least two or they will not be shown. No symbols allowed. You know that from the Adwords advertisements, there’s no symbols allowed in the advertisements. And last, but not least, non-family, or adult content, isn’t allowed. So, whenever you wanna advertise offline adult entertainment, or adult merchandise or something like that, this is not allowed within Google Call Outs.
