Is this supposed to encourage young african americans into science? i dont think it will influence the youth of today just because the scientist is black.

I think achievement should not be measured by what you have achieved compared to your own race, but by success in your chosen field working alongside any race or creed.

i think this differentiation is where most of the US' racial tensions come from, why can we not just be one people.
