mochi mink just fits the macabuns better because they’re supposed to be macarons! macarons are smooth therefore macabuns must be smooth lol that’s my thinking anyway i think outside of unique cases like what happened with evil macabun, if the real life inspiration is smooth it should be smooth, if fluffy then be fluffy lol
