Coop!! I just purchased a monster lite folding rogue rack. It's my upgrade from my Y-1 yoke. I love it. But i want some bougie safety spotter arms. What do you recommend?
ОтветитьThey lost me with that terrible finish. Looks like it came off a 12 year olds fisherprice 3d printer
ОтветитьOak club spotter arms… no thanks. Coop, you put out some great stuff, and are normally are fair and balanced - not the case here.
1. Who has ever complained about “screwing in” a spotter arm? It is a 90 degree turn, and the most sensible and secure way to attach such huge attachments like spotter arms. It’s the same mechanism all j-hooks use, including the ones you’re reviewing in this video… it’s not “weird” or “awkward.”
2. No one needs a spotter arm to be that low. You might as well have your barbell on the floor.
3. Using a hitch pin for a spotter arm, if anything, is “weird” and “awkward.” In fact, Coop is clearly struggling to attach it that way. And then he demonstrates how wobbly it is… nice work.
Coop, not sure how much they paid you to blatantly ignore flaws and instead tout them as if they’re better… but not objective and you’ve lost a lot of credibility.
Your favorite adjustable dumbbell is a caged dumbbell, which is obviously inferior to a dumbbell without a cage to restrict what you can do with it.
And your favorite adjustable bench is one where you can’t adjust the seat angle…
You point out the tiniest details for almost everything else (which everyone appreciates, but then inexplicably your “favorite” pieces are not only blatantly flawed, but you magically fail to mention these drawbacks at all.
C’mon man.
Can't agree on short spotter arms Coop
About 50-60cm is a good spotter arm length if you need to bail on a squat then the arms should be able to catch the barbell, it gives you a little bit of room to walk out a squat too
Really short spotter arms like what Powertec, Force USA and Ironmaster do are rubbish and offer bugger all protection on a squat and you have to squat really close to your rack
Oak Club prices are all over the place. Magpins are ridiculously high at 90 bucks, but their dip station is only 205, which is a great deal for a rack dip station that has its own integrated vertical storage.
ОтветитьBasketball “goal”. I can’t 😂😂
ОтветитьOak Club quality is insane.
ОтветитьYes, the basketball goal.
Ответитьi was actaully super excited for the basketball hoop but i dont think they sell them
ОтветитьI have the wessy and like it
Ответитьanother shill :(
ОтветитьThanks for showing those details! I think I’ll go with rogue since I hate when things wobble around
ОтветитьCould you do more reviews of different brand accessories and fitment? For example, how does a Rogue Monster Rack Storage Panel fit on a Sorinex Apex Rack.
ОтветитьIs the step up platform too small that you will start hitting the uprights when you are doing the exercise?
Ответитьyou should review black widow training gear next
Ответитьtempted to drill out all my 3x3, 5/8 to 1" at this point
ОтветитьMet the guy… We live close by… real down to earth and humble. Commercial gyms would also benefit from his videos as well 🤙🏼
ОтветитьThe price on Oak Club stuff is so high that "if you need to know the price, you cannot afford the item" as compared to similar items. If I had a Rep Rack or something similar, I wouldn't get any Oak Club stuff for it mainly because although I like them, they are just too over priced for what they are.
ОтветитьCrandall Fitness
ОтветитьYes! smaller company reviews are great! I like this format of video!
ОтветитьTitle of video should be renamed to the most unnecessary accessories ever! 🤦♂️
Ответитьwould love a garage gym reviews UK. So much great stuff on this channel just seems a nightmare to get in the UK, like Rep for example
ОтветитьReview crandall fitness rack and bench.
ОтветитьCan anybody help me out with a similar channel for Australian gear or at least gear that ships from Aus?
ОтветитьCan’t find the basketball hoop
ОтветитьNo love for the campbell handles ? I know a Basement Brandon who will surely feel a little left aside :)
joking aside, oak club makes some awesome stuff !
🇨🇦🇨🇦 so glad to see a Canadian company. The shipping costs for the American companies make buying from them cost prohibitive
ОтветитьLet’s get the rack to review .
ОтветитьI just bought the alpha spotter arms used off FB marketplace and I couldn't be more excited! Great value used, not sure I would buy them brand new.
ОтветитьCheck out the company Get RX’D. I haven’t seen you do a review on their racks or other equipment.
ОтветитьIt’s annoying and amusing you share the basket ball attachment that Oak Club does not intend to stock anytime soon
Ответитьthank you so much for helping me build my home gym brother
Ответитьdo some stuff from WATSON. Their specialty barbells are amazing, their fat grip rotating sleeve curl bar and the total body development bar are my favorite. Tried them at mi40 ben pakulski's gym
ОтветитьWhy isn't the basketball goal on the website?
ОтветитьI have a 6 bar vertical holder from them, which is really nice.
ОтветитьThanks for this. However, I am locked into the 2x3 5/8” with my Rogue R3. It’s certainly strong enough, the attachments I do have are not too bulky or expensive. But it’s unfortunate that most if not all of the development of attachments is focused on 3x3. I don’t want to sell and repurchase everything. I’d appreciate any attention you could get for this ignored sector. Thanks!
ОтветитьI don't like the logo design. I wish it was just plain grip tape
ОтветитьGreat video. I'd like to see this format for other companies who offer unique stuff.
ОтветитьAm I the only one that cant find the basketball hoop?
ОтветитьGreat accessories. As far as the mag pins go I would prefer the Fringe Sport ones. They are cheaper and I’m happy with them. They also have a longer shaft at 5.5”.
ОтветитьHi Coop, would love if you can make a series of best home gym setup for different sizes, e.g. small area (50 sqft2), medium (~150 sqft2), large (250-300 sqft2).
ОтветитьThankfully no 5/8. My wallet and marriage are safe.
ОтветитьCouldn't find that basketball hoop on their site.... I got kids and that would probably help me out a lot
ОтветитьBack when you went to PRX, curious about the mini rack attached bench that can be used for leg extension and lat pull.
Also curious on your review of the Wall mount Athena vs what PRX is offering
Are you using spray on tan? Your arms and legs are really orange looking in the video.
ОтветитьIt Canadian. Does it come with a bottle of maple syrup?
ОтветитьWould be interested in seeing more from them and other smaller brands
ОтветитьStealth arms vs oak spotter arms.
ОтветитьI love Oak Club! And I also have been asking them to bring back the V2 Mag Pins 😂
