Hi Kirly !
I wanted to try your Vegan Jamaican Fruitcake but in your video you have said of using a tbsp of baking soda but written under ingredients list as a tsp of soda. Which is correct? . Can I also macerate the dry fruits and nuts by using orange juice and its zest before the baking process? Is this cake a moist or dense type, please ?. Is the amount of dry fruits around 535 gmsfor 340 gm of whole wheat flour ?

Thanks in advance

Have you ever used ground cardamon seeds instead of all  the different spices you have here. If you've never tried it. I think you'll love it.

I'd like to try it but will add a wonderful egg substitute which is 1 tbsp of ground flax seeds to 3 tbsp water for each egg, then beaten and folded into the mixture.

Hello. Love this recipe. Is it okay to soak the fruit in rum for a few weeks first? Im worried the soaked fruit would make the cake consistency too liquidy and it wouldnt bake well? Any tips if your using tgis recipe but with soaked fruit?
