when I roll a covered call option, how does the taxes work, I mean, I get a credit from the new position and part of this money is used to buy to close the old position.

It was really hard to follow this video, because it seemed like you kept saying intrinsic when you were referring to extrinsic.

I’m new starting to learn and was mentor to start option trade buy calls, puts, or sell calls and puts, you just broke this down on all levels where I can process. Very nice - thanks man!!

So you want implied volatility to go up slowly in a call and down slowly in a put?

Also you dont want it to go crashing down while in a Call?

This is a great video I just want to say though that I still get a little confused as far as when you said the only amount you would lose is the premium that you paid for, I get that how ever you said that the premium was $50 and the buy call is 125 so wouldn’t we be losing 125 …

If the stock XYZ is trading for $100 and your going to buy a call @ $125 and exp in 365days you said the premium is $50, so how would it be that you only lose $50,,, did you only pay $50 to buy xyz stock?

Between Brad and the guys at Skyview I have my mentors. One doesn't have to be Elon Musk to understand the Stock Market but one had better be dedicated and disciplined or else one will soon be out of the stock market as well. Tell you what guys when people try to impress you about what they allegedly know about the market only one question is necessary: "Can you tell me sir what is the difference between selling a call and selling a put?" While it is possible to make a relatively quick fortune in options; but, if you are in options solely to make a quick fortune alone you probably won't be making it - while I absolutely can't stand George Soros on fundamental grounds I do appreciate the amount of time, work, and effort he put into the business before he ever made a dime. For those of you who love the challenge of trying to figure out a math problem or puzzle you are in the right place and Brad is just the man to help you do it.

Hey what do you do to re coup from a bad put the price tanks. Do you sell it deep deep in the money and like a 1 or 2 year contract and extract the most prem possible? Or just sell and take the L

I am relativly new to options in a serious way, although I have bought ITM calls and sold covered calls for may years. My eyes glazed over and my mind wandered whenever I tied reading or watching tutorials about options trading. I only recently found you and love the down to earth, regular joe explanations you use. It works for me. Thanks for all the time and touble you have taken to help others.
