I came across your channel 2 months ago through Facebook for the first time. Since then, I've been following this channel for IELTS guidelines. I learnt how to generate new ideas within a short time and build on that idea from you (this was the main problem I was concerned about). Today I got my IELTS test score. My scores are:

Listening: 9

Reading: 8

Writing: 6.5

Speaking: 8

Overall: 8

Isn't it counterproductive to give students just a list of words to know and use in place of regular words where they make more sense. For example, telling them that the word distinct means different and use it gives them the impression that they can use distinct every time they want to say something is different.

I Have practiced till 6 months but now i don’t dare to take exam.. In mock test obtained only band six.. Unfortunately in speaking section i get 5.. How will i improve.. I worry about my future.. Everyday i study at least 6 hours..
