Wow, to think that "We Are the World" was recorded in 1985 to try and support a famine-hit Ethiopia which nearly 40 years later is a giant economy, is mind-blowing. I am a Cameroonian and with the bad leadership in my country, I feel hope each time I transit via Addis and spend the night at SkyLight Hotel. You guys deserve the leadership role as host of the AU Headquarters. And great job with the video Harriet. You're amazing. Peace from Johannesburg.

The climate is second to none. People do not burn in the warm season, March and April, and they do not shiver in the chilly season, November-January. June-September is the rainy season. It is wet but not too cold. Much of the year the temperature is 50s- mid-70s Fahrenheit, or 15-mid-20s Celsius. It is never humid any part of the year.

Ethiopia is my country but I live in Netherlands and I didn't visit it properly when I was in Ethiopia... Thank you so much for visiting us!

Wow! It looks so clean and beautiful. Just like any other European city. And of course far far better than even major Indian cities.

11th minute you wondered what is Starbucks, it is an American Cafe chain , also operating like te giant Fastfood chains McDonald's etc. around the World , it used to be very pleasant to hangout in Starbucks Cafes , chill , enjoy their drinks , use WiFi, even you don't have to purchase anything to sit inside , but since there was a law- suit against the Co. by a black man and the Pandemic, Starbucks has changed a lot and is not as comfortable as before, you still can get a free cup of iced water and sit on hard chairs inside and use your computer , use the restrooms if needed , but most of them put new locks with keypad , where you have ask an associate for the code. I am glad to see Addisababa so build and nice and clean and very friendly people!❤
