the fact that i moved last month probably didn't help, but i'm in the thick of the spring ferals (like oh god breathing stings like the burn of a swimming pool) and am so relieved in the comfort of not being alone

Also I like the drawer pouch as a carrying case for the weeks! I didn’t really consider it until your video & they have cuter (& cheaper) prints compared to the actual weeks carrying case :)

Be careful where you order your kamio stickers from. I tried searching for them, found a website that says they sold them. Went to place my order and more $1500 was taken out of my bank account 😭😭😭 😭😭😭😭😭😭
I called my bank and opened up a claim with them but they said it could take a couple weeks to process and because I told them “I placed the order” The lady on the phone was saying that they might not put the money back into my account since I should’ve know where I was ordering from.

I know she said she was gate keeping, & she doesn’t have to add where she got anything from but that also kind of sucks because she’s an influencer and has a huge platform so she has to know it affects people

I went from a notebook (bullet journal x leuch. A5) to a custom ring planner and now I'm back to the good old notebook system. I didn't like how bulky the planner got, how pages wouldn't fit in the rings with time, and then I had to store loose pages in a file folder, they got everywhere, out of order, and it was all just too messy. I think I'll keep my ring planner as a memory planner, with photos and memorabilia. :(

How do you keep your margin so tight when you’re writing? Do you have a guide that you use or are you just able to keep them so perfectly aligned?

What about the Filofax clipbook? They are a lot smaller than the other organizers.😊 Luv your video's btw🤗

Always a treat to check in with your videos! The stickers! Would love to see more hauls. Speaking of yokai, if you're interested in them I would really recommend the anime called "Natsume yuujinchou" (or Natsume's book of friends in English), it's my favorite animated series and so beautifully made.

Omg I bought some kamio stickers at your recommendation. They are so cute! Not cheap, but well made. I got the villains, supermarket and Sanrio.

I love the A5 Filofax! Would you consider making the digital inserts for that size for your shop? Or would you recommend buying the personal size and just printing it A5 size?

I really enjoyed this update! I love longer videos, especially when I can feel how happy you're feeling! Doing pages digitally is something I never would have thought of but it seems SO perfect for the way you work, the way you include your illustrations looks so nice, the way it feels all cohesive. I do this EXACT rings set up in an A6/Passport Carpe Diem TN, in a Hobonichi clear cover, with 19mm rings. 😂 I love it. Gives me the A6 "slim" of my dreams.❤

I hate late March, the beginning of Spring is really hard for me too. Mostly because I hate the summer and warm weather, and leaving winter and going to spring is like, here it comes...warm and hot weather. I do ok at the end of spring but the feeling happens again in June and most of the summer I'm just miserable. So I understand the spring hatred. I love the bigger rings system you made. I'm not a rings person, but it looks really nice to me. I bought the same lavender weeks! I know what you mean by the hobonichi haul getting intense this year. I just got my first hobonichi this year and I fell in love with it, but it's a day free. So for 2025 I thought about a cousin, but in the end I realized it was just the hype making me want it and it wouldn't work well for me.

Now I wanna see you put rings in an A5 hobonichi cover, hehe! Loved seeing your frankenstein system. In all seriousness tho I've been considering an A5 filofax/ring binder for budgeting next year but the filofax brand covers are just so blegh and/or crazy expensive. And the thought of rings in those beautiful hobo covers just thrill me.

About the Weeks I'd say keep both (unless it bothers you to possibly have an unused one laying around). If I were you I wouldn't be able to choose, i think. I'm so envious of the Yumi Kitagishi Weeks! It's gorgeous and it was a coin toss for me between that and the Purple Night Weeks (that I ended up getting). I'm a big time purple girly as well. 💜

A5 size too... Hooray!!!! I personally would like the monthly calendar in an A5 to be the same as your standard in the A6 -- I wouldn't care for if about extra space... sure I could find a ue for it, and would stand a better chance of reading my appointments without putting my reading glasses on.

My 2024 has not worked for me. I like hearing you talk about "Frankenstein-ing" your system. I am hopeful that my 2025 choices work better. Only time will tell.

Wow, I bought the same hobonichi weeks by Yumi Kitagishi as you! The small cats are in the heart shape frames, which I looove!ฅ^•ω•^ฅ I will use it for my English learning planner like this year's weeks. The big cat sticker is so great! I have no regrets ᐞ•༝•ᐞ₎◞ ̑̑

I got an A5 Plotter earlier this year and it really does overcome the size issue. Its like carrying around a notebook rather than a giant binder and it will fit the larger of those two Hobonichi pouches (which I have as well). Its insanely expensive to get outside of Japan (I got mine in Japan), but maybe you can import it through a reshipping service.

Is there any chance you could redesign the Filofax Personal inserts from your shop to fit A5? I'd looooooove it <3

I’ve been experimenting with different sizes of rings planners and now you have me considering a5, which could work for me since I don’t tend to carry around my journals and planners anymore (I have a pocket notebook I carry around even though most of my on-the-go notes are on my phone). My problem is that there is always something I like about each size, but I want only one notebook—the struggle! 😂 Maybe I need to embrace the fact that I need change every so often. 😅 Love your video, as always and I hope things are going well for you!

Would you ever consider doing a walkthrough of how you use procreate? I would love to commonplace in a similar way with my iPad. You are so right about people getting way more interested when you bring out an actual book; I guess it is just not as common anymore. And OH THOSE STICKERS!

So excited to see you buy the drawer pouches because I’m planning my first hobonichi order and I think I’m getting the Áne pouch in black. But since I’m me, I’m torturing myself about it. I spent hours looking up videos of the pouch last night before bed. So it’s really nice to see the exact model/colour, and also I feel like I have a better mental image of how big it will be in person now

Haven’t finished the video yet but I’m already relating in a bunch of unexpected way (we have extremely different systems). Right now I’m logging my days in little pocket-ish booklets I’ve been making myself. At first making the booklets (folding trimming etc) felt like a project, but now it feels like a chore. So I bought an N2 notebook instead, but I’m going to miss decorating my covers with sticker collages every other month. So I was thinking to either make monthly spreads in one of my books, or decorating replaceable sleeves to cover my fomo A6 hobonichi. Using stickers just for fun is such a joy!

Your nails look great! I actually moved to an original size Filofax because of your content. I thought I would hate it because my go-to planner is a Hobonichi Weeks Mega. But actually, I like it more! So freeing! And I can literally create my own system! Right now, I'm using a Plotter, and it's great.

I am still trying to figure out which size filofax would suit me. I want to use dot grid paper like I would in a bullet journal, and I want some dividers, and I want to have a suitable hole-puncher to be able to add my own pages. the filofax itself should feel fancy and sturdy and it can be used/vintage
