A "special typhoon warning" may be issued for Kagoshima today, with a heavy rain warning for southern Kyushu. Typhoon No. 10 is expected to approach and make landfall in Kyushu. Special warnings are issued when a typhoon as strong as the "Ise Bay Typhoon" is likely to cause serious disasters due to strong winds, high waves, and high tides.
