Etho and Bdubs were hero partners until Etho overused his quirk (super speed) and proceeded to die

Bdubs gets trauma from this, and is very protective over his future partners

Years later, Etho returns noticeably NOT DEAD

Bdubs tries to get Etho to return to the hero committee, however Etho completely refuses
