I had hope that the DNC would learn it lessons after 2016 when they screwed over Sanders and their voters by pretty much hand picking Hillary for them. I also had hope the left would walk away from purity politics and the "SJW" mentality. Instead they double down all this behavior in the next election. I personally think they've would've lost in 2020 if it wasn't for the pandemic which gave them an excuse to hide Biden, change the rules and defend censorship of bigger stories that made them look bad or their rivals look better. Then after winning they tripple down. The DNC again hand pick the parties nomine for them and the left still pushed purity politics/sjw mentality. Which droved away some the more likable voices on the left and even got some of them join the Republicans after they were publicly smeared.

I want to believe they will finally learn their lesson now and become real party of the people but so far I'm just seeimg another doubling down. This is the wors yet because the right offically won the popular vote. So now when the DNC or the left talk dowb on Trump voters or people who didn't vote for the democrats they are actually talking down on thr majority of the country. Which is only going get the majority to dislike them even more.

So long as the only other available option is the Republicans than the DNC will never have to learn. They just have to play the role of the lesser of two horrific evils working in tandem.
