Jesus did it all for us on Calvary, all we have to do is believe.
God intentionally made the Gospel so extremely simple, that no one will have an excuse for not being saved.

The Church could be raptured during the Ezekiel 38-39 War. I think part of the reason why Israel would accept the convenant with death is because they know that it was Jesus who saved them during that war and that YHWH is Jesus and that would drive many Jews into jealousy. But the discerning Jews will slowly come to accept that Jesus is YHWH and that He is the promised Messiah, and this remnant Jews are the ones who will flee to Petra at the midpoint of the tribulation.
