Enjoyed this heaps. My gf Emma loves the DB's. She's only seen the 86 movie 😂. She has the same issues with her set. So dumb not including swords and Grims Wheelie is rubbish.
ОтветитьThe only one of these moulds I have is Shattered Glass Grimlock. I quite like him. If Hasbro released SG versions of the others, I would probably be interested. As you know, I like my dinosaurs evil. 🙃
ОтветитьFor my 86 Snarl his sword is not rubbery so idk...for Grimlock I would say if the S86 is too expensive(wich now it really is) pick the MP08 Asian Edition, is a little bit bigger than the S86 because it's an MP(but who cares he's Grimlock) but he have more joints, WAAAAAAAAY more details, led eyes that you can change from red to blue....and it's wary cheaper,
Swoop I don't really care I keep the CW version for me it's more fitting for a pterodactil and he's less fat than the S86 version.
But these are only my opinions.
Grimlock is AWESOME. I managed to get him when he was still on store shelves, and with his sword being packaged in with Swoop, he's just about perfect.
ОтветитьStill love sludge 😅
ОтветитьIn the 1986 movie, only four Dinobots appeared on screen, except for Snarl which reduced as a cameo twice! The rubber plastic materials for these toys are meant for child safety measures. And there's a new Age Of The Primes Grimlock figure finally came out!
ОтветитьGrimlock is the only one I don’t have … sigh
ОтветитьThat's really cool that you ate going over the SS86 Dinobots. They are my favorite sub-group in my collection. I even got a second Sludge and a Nonnef Paddles conversion to add an unofficial 6th member.
ОтветитьSludge is my least favourite. His loose parts annoy me and his transformation just wasn't fun at all, far too fiddly. Fortunately his dino mode looks pretty good because I'm never transforming him back into robot mode
ОтветитьGrimlock remains the best Dinobot. Love it that he challenges Optimus Prime in "War of the Dinobots".
Slag come next. His hostile attitude suits him perfectly. He's plain mean.
That said, it's too bad Hasbro lacked the imagination needed to craft cooler names for the other Dinobots. Excepting Grimlock, everyone's name begins with the letter S.
Pity the Japanese anime version never thought of a crossover with Toho Pictures' Godzilla.
