The chat thing is definitely they adding stuff to it, like moderation or something like that, and not being ready for launch.

I enjoy the new version. It runs significantly better than Legacy on my old Radeon RX 570 8GB and Ryzen 7 2700X. Funny that's not like on Red Dead Online, where I need to use FSR to run it similarly to this. The only thing I noticed that didn't work as well was the PC dropping the frames like crazy underwater with its details cranked. Overall, it works okay.

For me it's not even the global chat that I miss the most, it's the team/crew chat. I've used that so many times when I can't use my mic to communicate with friends/crew

i have an i9 with a 3080TI,......yeah, really appealing to the normal gamers right?, no, most gamer have an i5 or even an i7 with a 3060 or 4060, 'most' gamers, but this guy flexing with an i9 and 3080Ti.....🤨

Rockstar games, obviously silently flagging accounts and that flag will stay on your account until gta Enhanced and/or Gta6 lands making migration impossible without even your knowledge so you can't even rectify/solve it, i mean, what a sh1tty games company and to remove chat???, also MAKING players pester their parents to buy a headset with mic and THEN you have to watch your online manners and swearing IN AN 18+ GAME!!! (no, you can't make this stuff up!).

Literally when anyone sent a message a notification would pop up saying how you can disable the chat if you like, and now all of a sudden everyone gets it permanently disabled, I'm just so confused why they didn't stick to their old system instead of forcing everyone to go mute, was perfect the way it was.

Ik the answer is probably a no, but I hope I'm wrong. My laptop can't handle enhanced edition and crashes whenever it tries to go into online or story mode. Can I still join my friends when they're on enhanced edition while I'm still on legacy, or is it just a no go?

Atleast friends only chat and everyone chat mode facility provide thats one , damm nice now i cant play diamond casino heist everytime failed not call nice rockstar

as a grinder i can deal with no chat, but the fact that they kept the keybind hidden so i cant change it is insane

chatting with people in gta online was the only thing that was still fun after the mod menus were removed

it's literally a port from consoles put to be able to run on PC, that's why there was 120fps cap, that's why there aint chat, that's why there is so many bugs.... it's just sloppy as always, remember the definitive edition? yea, why there was even a 3 year delay? for what?

the lobby disconnection thing happens constantly for me on expanded & enhanced gta online, i play on xbox series x with a wired ethernet connection, i never had this problem before when playing on xbox one online servers and only started having this issue when i migrated my character a year or so ago. no matter how good or bad your connection is, after about 30 minutes everyone will just disconnect from the public lobby, i’m not sure why. but whatever the issue is it seems to be present in the pc version as well

And how tf can I communicate with rondom players in jops ? Like casino hiest or any complicated jop ?

I see it a lot with my 4080 super its a all other game for me and i love it like crazy

I did not really bother to check about ray tracing in the settings > graphics and also really don't realise that the game is hardcoded to function at 120fps (with RT turned off).

the game feels lifeless without text chat. and even if you stayed on old gen to still have it, barely anybody is on old gen now. they ruined the game

it was a bit jarring not being spammed "safe" gta mods 10000000$ for 2.99 at X website in text chat.

I think I will play gta 5 online again.. I don’t care about character migration because I once played gta 5 online with modded accounts and got permanent ban from rockstar

Honestly rockstar, please keep heading in the direction of killing GTA Online, i can't stand it.

So if you play solo, play enhanced. If you play online, play legacy. and if you play solo and hate enhanced, we can tell you have a 1060 TI, its time to upgrade grandpa.

My 3060 runs this at mostly ultra to high settings I have it capped 60 fps with riva tuner and it feels pretty good

Instead of making a whole new game, they should add it as a DLC, as BattlEye will do the cheating detection, & R* doesn’t have to prevent “modded accounts” from Migrating. I always download the vanilla game for 10 yrs w/o touching the files, & i been banned in 2017. in 2023 modders changed my lvl to 7999. Let BattlEye decide if a player can or cannot Migrate.

Rockstars states constantly they care about GTA Online and want to move somewhat in this direction with their games which is fine, I get it; Corporations are greedy, but who at Rockstar had the idea to remove the chat. This is an online game mode with no in game chat which makes it hard for the community to communicate with each other, If they keep this going forward I can see a major dip in players.

Nice, my og 7 year old pc account was compromised a couple months ago, I noticed within the same day because I got an E-mail from Rockstar stating my account information was changed, I reset my password and changed the email only to login and find I had $3.5B and level 500 character... Now I can't play enhanced because of some piece of shit Russian hacker.. I sent a support ticket explaining the whole situation so anybody facing the same issue I'll let you know what they say

Wait, wait, wait. This is like Microsoft Windows or iOS update in iPhone. We have to wait until all is running ok, perhaps will need more small updates, but is better to wait until is secure to migrate. I always did this and continue in old versions playing and reading the complaints of others who were the first to update or migrate. Wait, and you will avoid headaches.

not having text chat on pc (for now hopefully) blows cause the cooldown on the phone is stupid and having to alt tab to message a random im teaming up with online on the RSC when i need to tell them something is gonna get me killed since it (visually pauses) the game

they didn’t even put any effort into fine tuning it to PC. when you load up the game, it literally says “Press view + RB to enter the home page” it was just a complete copy and paste and im pissed that there’s no text chat.

Do you have to buy the game again?
