I was literally reading tbate right now when I saw this trailer and I can tell just from the first few seconds that it is not a faithful adaptation,because in tbate arthur said that there were no more wars in his old world and what is the first thing that this trailer shows?A large scale war..

Why are Webtoons getting the short stick when it comes to adaptation?

I've always said that if TBATE ever got an anime, it would invite tons of criticism due to the copy paste nature of the first volume. While the story definitely becomes it's own thing, the beginning is literally a beat for beat copy of MT and anyone denying that is delusional. Hope the studio actual takes a little creative freedom to alter it or else the author may be deemed a plagiarist once the anime comes out

If you thought the manhwa felt "alive" then the light novel is so much better because the author plays around with his wording in a more badass way. I hope they at least adapt the story from TBATE's light novel. As someone who have read both and the light novel up to ch 408 I have got low expectations considering how the manhwa is compared to the light novel.
