FROM Season 3 || Monster Origins Revealed || Nightmare Creatures

I feel like they’re maybe from Victor’s nightmares since he’s the oldest resident and has been there since the 60/70s? And he’s forgotten so much from trauma that it would make sense why he doesn’t remember. Maybe he read about it the fae and Faraway trees in a book as a child and was told about nightmare creatures and they manifested from his dreams… That’s my theory! But I have no idea about the bugs and the music box. It makes me feel like the nightmare creatures are just the predators in this world and that the real monsters are more primordial sentient beings.

The monsters are all dressed like their from the 50s/60s and the town looks like its from a similar era they might've been normal people living in this town before a curse or a government experiment

i think this show end up like ALICE IN BORDERLAND. in the end we will found everyone who is in the town are in coma in real world. bcoz as per what happnings in fromville director only have the choice to end this show like that . there is no explaination for some or more things happened in fromville.(Sorry bad english)

My theory is that by burying your dead that the place revives them after some time

I think this is a video game set in the European Folklore with Fae which are the monsters. To exit the game the player must die, like when the girl died and woke up in the hospital.

If they come from dreams (get it, FROM dreams) i think they come from Victor's dreams and so does the Boy in White.

These creatures might be from Victors dreams. I think that in the previous cycle due to food shortage. Everyone started attacking each other, converting it into a mess.

I think the monsters are fairies as in the old mythical ones from Ireland and Scotland as they fit the look and there are surpose to be able to imitate humans and don’t come out at night and from in old Scottish language can mean fairies

"they're dream monsters" isn't a satisfying answer to a mystery because thats an answer that is literally just "they're what the writers wrote them to be".

Its going to be the exact same problem as lost. they wont even bother to give 99% of the stuff they wrote any answers what so ever and what "answers" they do give wont be satisfying. they will just be "they're this thing the writer made up"

It just occurred to me how the creatures eat the internal organs, hollowing the cadavers out. It makes me think of how hunters hollow out game in the field yet the objective is quite opposite with the creatures. I think the creatures leave the 'meat' behind on purpose. With this seasons swell in trapped prey and the grim reality of starvation it only stands that the creatures are forcing cannibalism. And with cannibalism comes the creation of MORE creatures. That is my idea of part of the origin theory.

I think the monsters are from the little boy in all white dreams , I also do believe he an his parents was the first ones there to live in the town

The nightmares manifests when the one dies with the fear from them. So who manifested the creatures probably died long ago, maybe in the 50's by the creatures clothes. the greatest mistery for me the stones. The person who made those stones that able to protect the house from the nightmare creatures must have been in the zone since everything started.

I am wondering if this is all a science experiment and the monsters are meant to resemble people that you once knew who disappeared and are now monsters or maybe my writer's brain is overloading right now.There has to be a reason that Boyd and the rest of the townspeople were chosen to be stuck in that town and tormented by monsters.

I mentioned last season that the monsters come from Victor's childhood fears. What made me think of this is when Victor told Julie and Boyd in seasons 1 and 2 that he initially thought he was just having dreams, but those were actually his memories.

I'm still fully convinced they are fae, the faraway trees are fairy circle/trees and the dog is a woodland sprite. My theory is the tree they all see on arrival was a fairy tree that was cut down, causing some rip/tear/portal to appear allowing humans to get stuck, and as penance for cutting the tree down the fae torture an humans and feed on their hope/fear/pain.

My theory on why Victor was alone for so long before others found them is, his suffering alone as a single boy was equal to the suffering of an entire town until he finally dissociated enough to forget why he was upset (his sister), at which point the fae needed more human souls to torment.

I think the children are like, uncorrupted or good/benevolent fae, possibly they don't blame humans individually for whatever happened?

How to survive the world in From
1. When you are inside safe houses protected by those Talismans , dont cover windows with any sheets. instead observe the monsters.
2. Observe what does those monsters do all night? make notes . how many are there ? does their count change ? does their appearance change ? what happens when Sun comes up ? do the monsters magically disappear ? or They walk back to forest , make a note of directions. this information will help in tracking them.
3. Try innovative ideas to hurt them. use some pitfall traps. (dig deep holes and cover them , make monsters fall into those traps. check if they can really climb up.
4. There are lot of dead cars in the area. get fuel from them. throw fuel on monsters from houses. try burning them.
5. Use acid from car batteries. this can be used alongside pitfall traps.
6. build few dead fall traps (use very large wood logs , try crushing these monsters under such logs.
check if they can be destroyed or at least incapacitated.
7. check what happens to a such trapped monster when Sun comes out. do they burn like vampire ? do they die ?
8. Build few strong catapults on houses. use stones, heavy objects as projectiles to hurt monsters.

My theory is that the monsters were past people who died in the village in the past and once the died they come back I think this because when Boyd killed the smiley creature they cut it open and it had human body parts but 0 blood so I think all the monsters were once human and the outfits the wear is the outfits they died in. This is only my option so it’s not correct but that’s what I think.

I think the creatures are mimicking the original townspeople from the 1950s. When they are asleep in the tunnels, they lose their human face. A child may have died who was scared of monsters cpming out at night and maybe even of the adults in town. It could also be from a scary movie that the child watched.

I think the monsters are past residents of the town. The nurse worked at the hospital there was a milk man a sales man and a waitress that worked at the dinner all the way to the village slut that used her looks to kill exc. I think when you die there you
stay there. Also I think the town lives off the fear the monsters are just there to feed the town....

I have a lot of theories and one of those is the monster townsfolk participated in something very dark back in the day that placed a curse on them forever changing them into ghouls. I believe something is controlling them, manipulating them like puppets.
