I know this is supposed to be sweet and vulnerable but after everything tom put lynette through, him suddenly trying to be sweet makes me want to hit him. Repeatedly. He shouldve had to have begged for lynette back

They were the best couple. People keep saying mike and susan. Everybody can be good during that phase bit these two were amazing even those kids and those issues. These two went through so much and they stayed together and had awesome understanding, it was really good

People I do not understand you when you called this scene the "most romantic scene" of Tom and Lynette! HE didn't deserve her! And frankly Lynette was better without him! He seriously sucked as her husband and as her partner. All the shit he pulled her throught??! like hell, wake the FU** UP PEOPLE! He didn't go back with her because she was the love of his life! he wanted to get back with Lynette because he wanted to be comfortable again! it's all about him! I HATED HIM! HATED HIM! He's an immature grown man, a fu*** child in a grown adult body!! Lynette wasn't perfect, she had her defaults, difficulties, complications and all, and yes sometimes she was a pain in the ass! but she always was there for him although he wasn't there for her. He berated her, diminished her, humiliated her, badgered her, literally worned her down both physically and mentally! It was one of the most toxic relationship in the show! (In my opinion!). She would've of been fine without him in the long run, she would've of been OK, she would've of find herself again, that warrior, ambitious woman, buisness orientated and successful woman, she would've of thrive again. NEVER go back with a man like Tom Scavo, a man who abandoned her as soon as the first difficulty arise or when you are going through a rough patch, he bailed and left you hanging! Tom Scavo, only stay with her when she, Lynette was either at her lowest so that he could make himself feel better, either to rub the good stuff that happened to him. He always left her when she needed him the most! And made her feel like she doesn't matter, she was a monster for being the way she was, she wasn't nurturing enough for him after giving I don't even remember how many kids (including the one forced upon her by him!).
I'm sorry this is not romantic to me, it is the opposite of it! Tom Scavo will never change he only came back because he thought that she was in love with someone else...and he wanted to through his pity party to her and to see if that were actually true, to gage her reaction and if he had an opening in her life again.

I hated this because if you watch the show was a horrible husband. He pushed her out of her career to give him the life HE wanted,bought a house without her input and had a big family because HE wanted it. Did she love her family yes but was it what she wanted..no. He was already traveling for work often and applied for a job that would have taken him away even more when she was drowning and begging for help. Yes she sabotaged that promotion because he didn't care about what she needed. He then retaliated by quiting his job and telling her to go be the bread winner so he could take over the house and kids...but he left the house in shambles and even fought with her when she didn't want to sleep in a bed with baby puke in it because he refused to clean the sheets. Then he got bored and decided to get a job at her office but was so threatened by her success and her being his boss. Leaves that to " find himself" and decided to put all of their money into buying a pizza joint all while she finds out he had a secret child he was visiting and keeping secret from her. Then had to take on a 5th child and deal with the crazy baby mama. The restaurant is failing he hurts his back abd now she has look after Everything plus a business and gave up her career to support him & his dreams. She changes some things at the business and its thriving ...and he is pissed & jealous. She does lean into flirtation with Rick but ends it and finds out she has Cancer and deals with his satan spawn daughter. Time skips Tom has a midlife crisis and sells the business without even consulting her and wants more out of his life than owning a pizza place. And whoops gets her pregnant AGAIN. Is generally just a insufferable ass and decides they need space and they separate but are doing marriage counseling but decides to start dating in the meantime...enter Jane. After all this Lynette is still trying to save her marriage and family. Then when she is completely broken and he thinks shes moved on he comes back with this gesture. She deserved better Tom is a selfish dick 🎤

Lynette did treat him like a child throughout all the seasons I watched. They were cute, glad they worked it out but Tom wasn’t alone in making the mess. They were both responsible.

He really treated the love of his life awful.
