Here's the thing you guys. I hope to see Sean back at the top again, and i hope he keeps it funny because thats when he is at his best.

I've known a couple dudes in my life who weren't the most personable or the most socially-refined or the most aesthetically-pleasing people around and who, in fact, were often aggressive and crude and even criminal in both their activities and their personalities and yet they were my friends. The reason they were my friends, in part, was because underneath their thorny exteriors with all their various imperfections and tics and flattened noses they were undeniably, almost embarrassingly human, the kind of human that would occasionally reveal unexpected depths of compassion and justice and courage (Attributes that are always applauded, sometimes emulated but almost never appreciated) in that they often went unnoticed by those around them because a lot of people are just too busy being afraid or judgmental or manipulative to notice plain-old common virtues, especially when they're wrapped-up in a package that doesn't fit the preconceived notions of what decency looks like.
Anyway, Strickland fits that mold and although he may or may not have a lot of friends the ones he does have he values above gold and will never abandon or betray...he's just that kind of human. Now, should he clean-up his act a little, talk in only PG terms for the next couple generations of fans and aspiring fighters...fuck no, because he's uproariously funny and part of his strategy is to chip away at his opponents confidence with well-placed barbs set deep, irritants that cumulatively sting like a slap-in-the-face, all this occurring before he ever climbs in the ring. Yeah, he's a crude, sometimes offensive dude with his fair share of imperfections but he's an honest fighter and, above all, he's got the heart of a lion and a jab that looks like it's fired out of a rifle...a thing of beauty.
