That bridge is a symbol of over four centuries of Ottoman imperialism, occupation, rape and pillage upon the Balkans. Croats from Mostar did the right thing.

I really don't understand the whole point in destroying this bridge, a huge piece of history, regardless of the background. Block the entrances to cross instead!!!!. I can understand if there was severe crossfire by enemies on both sides. But bombing it, where the fuck is the logic in that? This pisses me off.

Wow, posted a comment a year ago about this. Now I am commenting again actually here in Mostar, Bosna i Herzegovina seeing everything with my own eyes. Much of this place is rebuilt including the bridge but you still see some scars left from the war. So sad :'(

Die Brücke war schon vorher mit Sprengsätzen versehen von Muslimischen Milizen sorry aber das ist die Wahrheit die Muslime stellen sich immer in eine Opferrolle meine Familie kommt ebenfalls aus Mostar aber so eine "Propaganda" ist wirklich dumm nicht nur Serben und Kroaten haben die Brücke bombardiert sondern die Muslime haben Sie selbst auch in die Luft gejagt und die Brücke zu einem Ziel gemacht. Bitte liebe Türken hört auf immer eins auf Unschuldslamm zu tun. Die Muslime bekamen Hilfe von Kroatischen Soldaten und standen Seite bei Seite zueinander gegen den Aggresor Serbien als die Serben vertrieben wurden stellten sich die Muslime gegen die Kroaten. Bosniaken an sich existieren "nicht" das sind Kroaten und Serben die "vertürkt-islamisiert" wurden mehr auch nicht. Darum haben die Kroaten Sie auch gegen den Agressor Serbien in Schutz genommen.
