If the ratchets were flex head, it would make the set more versatile. I would even give up the 3/8" drive breaker bar for it. Also, really enjoying the channel guys.
ОтветитьWish it had pliers but I get it.
ОтветитьI got two sets of Quinn 1/2 and 3/8 sockets in addition to other Quinn tools like ratchets, pliers, and screwdrivers that I used for pulling parts in junkyards. Except for the 1/2 19mm socket, the rest have been working just fine. I had to exchange the 19mm socket, it was hollowed-out after using it on rusty lug nuts.
ОтветитьAdd a Hercules 3/8 extended reach power ratchet and 1/2 ultra torque impact wrench with a set of 3/8 drive wobble sockets
ОтветитьThat’s awesome that yall are doing all that for those kids !! 👍
ОтветитьI have a Quinn 3/8" drive set at work. Compared it to a coworkers Kobalt. They seems to be identical. Kobalt is known to be made by Apex tools, maker of Gear wrench.
ОтветитьDude raided the magnetic tray aisle 😂😂
ОтветитьHappy with mine. Got it with $100 off coupon so $299 was pretty fair deal. Highlights are 6pt AND 12 pt sockets, ratchet wrenches, 3/8 and 1/2 breaker bars. The Quinn wrenches aren’t my favorite , but they are decent enough for the price.
ОтветитьEvery quinn tool ive used so far has performed well! I already have a lot of tekton sets. I kind of wish this kit was available when i was building my socket sets! And catch this on sale and you cant beat it to start with! Theyll last they are solid tools!
ОтветитьQuinn or icon still debating
ОтветитьNo stubby ratchets? Some youngins will have a good start for sure 😊
ОтветитьIt looks like the old craftsman machanical set from the 80's 90's style
ОтветитьThe tiny 1/4 bit Rachet wrench looks similiar to Vim on Amazon i paid $17, the sockets are identical to AutoZone ones that I use in work and they have hold everything. I hate the Quinn screwdrivers , kind of buky and sometimes don't fit thru holes and have to use duralast round screwdriver that have the square for the wrench at the beginning of the handle. But will say this kit look great especially for the money.
ОтветитьI'm gonna try to talk my boss into buying this for me
ОтветитьIs Harbor Freight looking to replace the tool trucks?
ОтветитьSet looks like a winner of all Lifetime Warranty! GREAT VALUE
Ответитьi would add a long handled flex head 1/2 ratchet and a 3/8
ОтветитьI am about to spend 11k on sonic tools 428 piece plus my employee number this set might be worth the money
ОтветитьQuinn pliers, Quinn 90 teeth rachets with the comfort handles, and Quinn torque adapters would really round out the set.
What size roll cab do you think would suit this set w organizers would be best and still have some room left over?
I been looking at getting a new set of tools been looking at this set an some of the icon tools hid you hid any issues out of this set
ОтветитьI use mine all the time.
ОтветитьDefinitely really considering getting this set
ОтветитьThis normally goes on sale right after Xmas for 300 bucks. At that price it can't be beat.
ОтветитьThat little ratchet looks like the same one in the gearwrench 85035 set. I also have the icon they are both awesome. The ability to have the 5/16" is sweet, though.
ОтветитьThis is the set I need this would complete my setup and I'd have everything I needed this is an amazing set
ОтветитьQuestion so HF has life time warranty on majority of their items so what happens if you break something will you have to take the entire set? 😊
Ответитьsome line wrenches , crows feet, and a breaker bar is all that's really missing
Ответитьplus lifetime warranty
ОтветитьIm a small engin repare i work in trucks and cars 😊
ОтветитьNeed recommendations on storage for this set. I am limited on space
ОтветитьWhat a great set of tools. I would love to get a set like that...
Ответитьive been using this set for 2 years, it was my starting set. ive broken a handful of torx 1/4 inch bits and a few sockets. the chrome is coming off of one or two of my 3/8 drive metric deep sockets. overall great value for somebody entering the work force.
ОтветитьHF had a coupon offering $100 off that set, so i got it. i love it so far
ОтветитьSorry this is the very first time I came across your channel and I'm definitely going to check it out more. I just had to stop to say that the young fella probably wasn't on this earth when that movie came out. Dam we are getting old. Anyway I will definitely check it out and I will most definitely see you in the comment section again soon 👍 🇨🇦 🔧
ОтветитьThat looks like a pretty sharp set of tools I'd love to have a set
ОтветитьBought this set for about 90 dollars off some guys truck. Brand new. Had no idea it was worth 400.
ОтветитьThere's also a klutch 305 set for $439 at Northern Tools. You all should check it out also.
Ответитьthe Quin set is pretty nice. one thing i dislike about most "Master Tool Sets" is that include a lot of fillers - bit sets and Allen key sets in particular. I am fine with Allen and Trox sockets. but bits and keys are worthless to me. the kits also don't include several needed tools. take out all the bit sets, and add more important items.
I would add the following to the set, in place of the assorted bits
1/2 and 3/8 ftlb and 1/4 inlb. digital torque wrench preferably digital with digital angle.
Flare Nut wrenches in SAE and Metric.
locking pliers (vice grips) in both 4, 6 and 8 inch size regular and needle nose.
Non-locking pliers, say a large and small cobra pliers, 6, 8, 10 regular pliers, side cutters in small and large, lineman's pliers, 4-inch and 6-inch needle nose pliers, and hose clamp pliers.
1/2 SAE and Metric Impact sockets 6 point in booth deep and shallow.
Safety glasses
Mechanic gloves
serpentine belt tools set
Non-marring hammer, dead blow hammer, 3 assorted weights of ball peen hammers.
Drain Plug sockets - let's face it, new mechanics will spend most of their time doing oil changes till they get tome time under their belt.
Mid-Level Code Reader something similar to the Innova 5610.
all of the above would add more to the price, but you will need them anyway and getting rid of the bit set would offset some of the cost.
wish they would put actual tools in there instead of that filler garbage, don't need bits we need actual screw drivers. Allen sockets over those cheap ass Allen wrenches any day.
ОтветитьI bought the Pittsburgh 301 piece set. But this was definitely one I considered buying but I was $100 short. I also picked up the hart tool box for $100. This should be more than enough to build a Lamborghini Replica, the next step is cheap power tools. I currently have Milwaukee but thats for my HVAC job and I do not wanna mix tools. I'm thinking Hercules or Hart cause I'm just a DIY'er. I can always upgrade later on.
ОтветитьI'll buy Quinn over Icon every time! They just feel higher quality to me, for much less than the Icon price...
ОтветитьGreat goal, thanks for the layout and review. I work for HF and am amazed at whats in that box actually seeing it now!
ОтветитьAn auto parts store set like that is over a grand. Tool truck would be idk 4 grand
ОтветитьAll the dumb torx and Allen sockets u need for modem vehicles is in the set
ОтветитьI bought a rolling cart and this kit it literally filled every drawer
ОтветитьFor Black Friday this set will be $300 !!
ОтветитьJust my guess, but the 5/16 end on the small ratchet may be for use on hose clamps.
ОтветитьThats a huge set. I got a quinn 1/4 master set. Im going to get all there master sets. i like the case it comes with no digging around to find things. Great Video keep up the good work.
ОтветитьIs there any skips?
ОтветитьWow you guys are awesome
