Anodization that looks slightly different doesn’t mean it’s inferior. It’s an electro/chemical process and can vary in shades a little. Not sure I’d say the finish on the Zion is worse than the BCM by any means.

LWRC makes a great AR too. I will absolutely pickup something from PSA at some point just to support a great company.

Sig Tread M400 is a good option. I suped it up with an aftermarket rail, light, optic and trigger. Best 1300 I spent. Have had zero issues with it and it runs like a beast.

Springfield Armory Saint should definitely rank here!! Not a PSA fan. Have Daniel's, Aero's, BCM and SA's. Out of the box the SA is top notch at the price point mentioned as well.

No S&W Sport III ? No Ruger??

The S&W m&p sport 3 deserves to be on this list. I still have the sport 1 and never failed on me and that's also with a bunch of cheap tula ammo ran through it.

My Ruger MPR model 8452 has been a great rifle, Paid $700.62 dollars out the door. Has B5 furniture, Hammer Forged barrel and chromlined BCG. Has been a excellent rifle.

I’m honestly shocked you guys didn’t have the LWRC ic-di. It’s under 1400, full ambi, fluted barrel, very high quality and rifle. I picked mine up for 1250.

I didn't know BCM made a $1300 rifle. Mine was 2k and it broke my heart because I'm poor. And poorer after setting it up. BCM is worth it. Especially for 1300

I have one AR it is a Bushmaster made by Remington I bought it used let the gun had never been shot you can pay as much as you want to I gave 600 tax included same price is a thousand rounds

If you plan on shooting suppressed look into PWS ( primary weapons system ). They are fantastic long stroke piston ar’s made in Idaho.

AERO makes good stuff and as an added bonus, ballistic advantage makes their barrels now. Build it out to your own specs yourself. Good way to possibly save some money but a great way to learn about your weapon and how to modify, upgrade, fix it.

BCM and PSA in the same sentence should be a crime, GTFO with this list. Paid advertising at its best. PSA and diamondback are bottom of the barrel.

Bought my Colt LE Carbine back in 2003 with a 14” barrel. I built it after taking a Colt M-16/AR-15 armorer’s class. Used it in many classes then later qualified as a designated marksman. Ocasional take it to the range and shoot plates at 300 and 600 yards.

It’s been a few years ago, but for $800, I got a deal on an FN15 with the chrome lined CHF barrel. Great lower and upper. Changed the grip and stock to Magpul. Warhammer CH. BCM bolt and vertical for grip and made it a designated suppressor host. My great grand-kids will most likely enjoy this rifle
