How CGI made Cody and Caleb as PAUL WALKER | Furious 7 VFX by Weta Digital

there was 2 brothers at the school i went to in the early 2000s the only way i could tell them apart was one has a spot under his right eye

Watching this in theaters the only scene I knew for a fact was cgi was at the end in his supra. When he turns his head you can see a weird affect.

However I had no idea just how much of this movie wasn’t him, a lot more then they initially said.

I don’t know anything about CGI…. But in my opinion this is maybe the most impressive thing I’ve ever seen. I have seen that movie probably 5 or 6 times and the only shot that looks a little off is the final scene where he says “you thought you could leave without saying goodbye?”

You know what’s crazy the only scene you can tell it is not Paul is the last scene and really it’s the glossy eyes that kill the scene

Just watched this movie today, and 10 years later no movie or TV show has topped this use of CGI for a character's face. I didn't even realize so much of the movie was a CGI Paul Walker, as I only thought the last scene in the cars was CGI.

I think the last real shoot of Paul was when they where at the dock where ramssey wakes up after being saved and then after that it was cgi

I think they should've collaborated with the people who did the cgi for King Kong (2009 the one with jack black) and the Pirates of the Caribbean films. As old as those films were the cgi was superb.

Furious 7 was the first fast and only Fast film I had seen in theaters I hope since Fast and Furious 11 is supposedly the last one I’ll see that one in theaters
